Worst game of football I've ever seen. Wycombe time wasting from the first half to get a 0-0, small club mentality and couldn't sell out their away tickets to match.
I don't think I've seen them string 3 passes together for 90 minutes, let alone a pass along the turf. Mind numbing painful football.
0-0 at home not ideal but it feels like a win knowing we don't have to watch that tripe week in week out.
In terms of ourselves, naive at the end to gift them set pieces to nick a win, luckily it didn't matter in the end.
Some decent football at times but we didn't break the lines enough time, too much sideways action and crosses going in from the sidelines. I'd like to see us work the ball into the box from those positions. Taylor isn't going to beat 2/3 defenders in the air.
For all the talk of not being able to defend set pieces, we can't take them either. Every corner and free-kick was poor today.
Probably too negative in this post though, we have the makings of a great side, a few tactical tweaks and time to gel and I think we can mount a good playoff push.
