I, like so many of a certain generation, had poor experiences at the hands of the police, in particular TVP. Mrs L had professional dealings, good and not so good. Both of us were treated to the Bedfordshire Constabulary, twice, at Luton and put in a complaint. And yet, still, I usually try to make a point of thanking them at away matches for looking after us. It usually appears to be welcomed and an exchange of smiles goes a long way.You and the missus should get Public Enemy style βf**k The Policeβ matching jumpers to wear on Saturday.
Hopefully our lack of direct rivalry with them over the last couple of decades will make for fewer teenage pavement dancers. You know, and they know what your average spotty teenage pavement dancer looks like. They know who theyβre looking for and Iβd guess you donβt fit the profile. Not difficult is itβ¦
Who said anything anti? I have merely pointed out that there will be a large and visible police presence at the game and, throughout Oxford. That TVP are conducting this as though they are anticipating serious trouble.
I don't personally have an issue with a police presence at games however, if they consider this to be an event that requires dogs, drones, horses and a large exclusion zone with additional powers allowing them the opportunity to stop and search anyone, anywhere between the town centre and Grenoble road without any suspicion at all, then I find that somewhat intimidating.
Now the question is does he know he will be playing for free? β¦.as Reading wonβt pay his wages
That's the worry. Actually the trouble last time was caused by Reading fans away from the ground. All this over the top policing, treating Like a war zone.... Will be ammunition for FoSB
Visions of them doing doughnuts on the pitch and completely f*****g up the pitch.
Itβll never match the low flying helicopter or rogue Alsatian for half time entertainment..
