Been absolutely class, but just not quite the 100% he was. Unfortunate and horrible for him, of course, and I wouldn't wish it on anyone, but Cam Bran 2 seasons ago was prime.

He’s still had a good season in terms of goals. Not so sure the eye injury would cause him to hit the bar from thirty yards out a few times when otherwise he might have scored.

Sure CB would like to be reminded of his health issue NOT and must be why he consistently makes L1 team of the week-anyhow all this because we had to be reminded of a previous "window"

I don’t think he was really a target for us. Maybe an outside choice. I just don’t see with our limited budget we would pay fees for two central strikers in one window.

You make some good points but as you say there is potential there and aspects that require improvement and a club that is confident in their system and coaching may be confident they can develop a player further. (I’m a coach so I’m always gonna big us up!)
So as has been mentioned sometimes you pay for the potential and take a calculated risk.

As to the exact amount he’s worth I have no idea, all I know is with a bit of luck we still get a great player performing for us or we get a club that overpays so it’s a win win :)

Excellent, a well balanced post.
 
Leonard and Matete would make it a very good window. As positive as anything else is the fact that Des and the team have recognised what we need and are acting on it. World of difference from the last couple of years and gives me plenty of hope for the summer when we shift some big earners on.
