Does being on loan mean you can’t score? He is 34 in a month, his legs looked like they had gone over a year ago and they have given him a two and a half year contract, we would slaughter any manager who bought someone similar in.
Clearly has a strong personal relationship with Clarke. As somebody else said he has gone all Karl Robinson

4 goals in 14 games for Vale, not bad for a loanee, we will see.

Could it be Harry (Leonard) for Harry Ramsden's? Otherwise I've no idea.

Big Ron, you might not watch other football apart from OUFC but others do. Think it's time to accept that.
I’m aware people follow the game, but there is informed comment and, shall we generously call it, bandwagon jumping.

9 league goals in a year and a half, if he isn’t scoring he doesn’t bring much at his age and they have signed him on till he is 36. It’s either genius or absolutely terrible, as we saw with Karl they are rarely the first.

Stoke signed Niall Ennis on a permanent deal. We'll probably sign Neil Innes or some such dog doo-dah.

You my friend need to get your head out of the clouds.
It was Goodrham's breakthrough season last year.
He is kicking on this season and adding goals to his game.
He's ok against teams that allow us to play.
He gets out muscled against the more physical sides as proved against Barnsley.
He has potential to be a very good player.
There are aspects of his game that need improvement, also he needs to find consistency for the full 90 minutes.
If he does that over the next two seasons then yes we will have a lot of interest in him.
We've just signed a winger who's played in the Championship, how much do you reckon we've shelled out for him?
You make some good points but as you say there is potential there and aspects that require improvement and a club that is confident in their system and coaching may be confident they can develop a player further. (I’m a coach so I’m always gonna big us up!)
So as has been mentioned sometimes you pay for the potential and take a calculated risk.

As to the exact amount he’s worth I have no idea, all I know is with a bit of luck we still get a great player performing for us or we get a club that overpays so it’s a win win :)
