Des suggested that the medical team picked it up in the medical check.
He said that it was identified as a minor injury.
Are you suggesting that you know more or he is lying?
I was referring to the suggestion that Des wasnt being clear by saying he wanted fit players but then signed an injured player in Goodwin

The question is, can we afford the (partial) wages of two loan players who would be good enough to get into the team?

They aren’t injured for the whole season.
No, but decent chunks in some cases. At the moment we're light on numbers which is undeniable, it's hardly beyond the realms of possibility that we miss the playoffs by a couple of points is it? In which case the fact that we've spent most of January scraping through with kids, past it players and some who just aren't good enough on the bench will have cost us.

I know you like to see on the positive side but I don't get what's to be gained by trying to spin everything into a positive all the time, or at least dent that anything is ever wrong. I think you called kip boring the other day but I will say even though he clearly plays up to his negative image he's far more likely to praise the club than some are to criticise it. There's nothing wrong with saying something isn't right if it's true.

Don't think that's a law saying we have to use all the slots.

Last January we filled the slots with players we hardly ever saw.
Haven't you heard of the Use of Available Squad Places (Football) Act 2019? It's the reason Karl was always spouting shite early in the window.
