Not looking like any more signings then, so we'll still be 1 down vs start of the season. Looks as if we'll be hanging on to GOD and he won't be going to City.
I'm not sure a City move for him has ever been in the offing. They were most definitely not interested in the possibility in the summer.

O’Donkor, Woltman & Golding could leave after today I think as the National League window is open throughout the season. Might be wrong on that.

Sounds like the aim is for two more signings.
A forward player who can play across the front three & a central midfielder.

Cumming injury seems fine according to Radio Oxford. Only a precaution. Could even start versus Reading.

Stevens: waiting on results of scan. That is a worry.

What makes you say that? That is very different from even what the OM were suggesting.
Do City want GOD?

I'd be gobsmacked to be honest if Goodrham was being seriously considered by Championship clubs sniffing around the playoffs. Seems to me that they're just registering interest to reassure fans that they're looking around.

I like Goodrham a lot and I'd probably say he's actually the most efficient shooter in our squad (maybe even more so than Brannagan), but Championship (aiming for PL) standard? Certainly not right now + he just signed a new deal which puts us in a great bargaining position.

The season he is having this year reminds me most of Mide Shodipo - if you give him the ball in space in the inside left area he is likely to get a shot on target which is a great skillset to have, but it is very, very specific. I think he's off-ball impact in games has declined a bit since last year (but I appreciate that was in a team fighting relegation with backs to wall).

Didn't City just lose their Fulham loan ST Sanderson? Would make sense if they were looking for a replacement ST. Personally, I don't like it as a loan move for GOD. I really hope City stay up because what they're doing is sensational, but they are underdogs every single game pretty much. He's lost his confidence this season only being used here to see out leads for 10 minutes so I think it would be great for him to start games in a creative team that actually give him a chance to get lots of shots off.

Again?

Please look at the most recent pages in the thread before posting.
Been discussed since the initial OUFC tweet over 30mins ago.
Yes maybe but I happened to be looking after my frail father 93 so couldn’t keep up and just got in the car when a notification on my phone hence why I posted it as I hadn’t read the rest of the thread thus far.

I want to cry.

Would be better off dropping down to the national south/north level for what remains of this season for me, its about getting him a lot of game time and getting his confidence back, not that long left in the season so I don't think the level is the priority for this loan, can look at moving him up at the beginning of next season.

Des has really left all his eggs in the deadline domino basket hasn’t he?

There’s a sentence I never thought I’d say.

I was a bit surprised that Dale took 30 over 7, I wonder whether we may be signing a forward who is more predominantly a winger, and they may have saved the 7 for them? More wishful thinking about actually signing someone else than anything but 🤷‍♂️
