Outta no where
It suggests he'll be a permanent signing if he recovers ok.Doesn't this contradict what the club said?
Very smart. It suggests he'll be a permanent signing if he recovers ok.
Until they break down again if they’re being expected to play too soonThe owners must be happy that's saved them a few quid.
In case you are wondering, it's bits like this that make us feel like you're being a t**tNot really. It’s the truth, he makes daft decisions, comes for balls and flaps at them, and then when the ball ends up in the net, he stamps around “wtf happened there”.
The defence has more to deal with, and clearly don’t feel comfortable having him in the sticks behind them. Adding more pressure on them.
He’s got to go, and he is a clown, and not Lge 1 standard.
Will also say that if he does return to fitness before the end of the season, I assume he would be unable to play due to his loan being terminated and thus not actually being a registered player. Not sure how this all works but I do wonder if the deal may already be/on track to be permanent. That's really good for the club, no wages being paid and possibly keeping him permanently next season.
It is good as the glimpses we’ve seen are of a very good player, however my concern is he’s another who will have to watch his game time and it’s like treading on eggshells every time he plays with worrying about a further problem occurring, unfortunately similar to Marcus. I’d rather we don’t sign players in the very risky category regardless of how good they are. That's really good for the club, no wages being paid and possibly keeping him permanently next season.
Just because his loan ends doesn't mean we stop paying him necessarily. It's possible we may still be contributing something as per the original agreement, just like we would if any other contracted player became injured. Rather, by 'terminating' him as a loan player there is the obvious benefit of opening a door for another loan player to join. That's really good for the club, no wages being paid and possibly keeping him permanently next season.
We will see come Saturday been put back againThe owners must be happy that's saved them a few quid.
My comment isn’t based upon whether you think he’s good enough or not (obviously the former from your prospective), but just feel your reference to him being a ‘clown’ which is disrespectful and certainly uncalled for for a person who has and continues to be a great servant to our club. Why?
Oh because he’s been a good servant…
I’m sorry but, the truth is he’s no where near good enough. He’s been in decline, since we returned under Michael Appleton, and he should have gone a couple of seasons ago. Some on here don’t like to hear it, but I say how it is, and if this football club seeks promotion to the next level, then players like Eastwood need to be off loaded sooner rather than later.
The amount of times he gets beaten from long range, and the near post is laughable.
Get rid of the dross, and bring in younger players we can develop, and players that have potential/promise.
Not has beens, or keep players, because they’ve served us well. Sorry that don’t sit right with me.
Nah if a loan is terminated it’s terminated - none of the financial pitfalls of a permanent signing if Edwards had a break clause in his loan agreement.Just because his loan ends doesn't mean we stop paying him necessarily. It's possible we may still be contributing something as per the original agreement, just like we would if any other contracted player became injured. Rather, by 'terminating' him as a loan player there is the obvious benefit of opening a door for another loan player to join.
