Mills, Edwards and Beadle all in one day. Talk about getting your business done early.

I think it’s good that we’re clearing the decks and know where we are in terms of who was staying etc, as at least it makes it clearer on what we need to do going forward.

The bigger issue is filling those gaps, now there’s the real test of judgement

All these loan returns etc… here and at loads of other teams does make a mockery of the term a season long loan. I get that half way through you can also end loans of players who are not performing or injured etc… but all loans may as well basically be called half season loans and then either end or renew again in Jan.

Saying players have signed on a season long loan is complete rubbish and totally meaningless and false given the reality!

Disgraceful comment, totally out of order.

Why?

Oh because he’s been a good servant…

I’m sorry but, the truth is he’s no where near good enough. He’s been in decline, since we returned under Michael Appleton, and he should have gone a couple of seasons ago. Some on here don’t like to hear it, but I say how it is, and if this football club seeks promotion to the next level, then players like Eastwood need to be off loaded sooner rather than later.

The amount of times he gets beaten from long range, and the near post is laughable.

Get rid of the dross, and bring in younger players we can develop, and players that have potential/promise.

Not has beens, or keep players, because they’ve served us well. Sorry that don’t sit right with me.

He’s a back up keeper, and back up keeper‘s sometimes have to step in to the first team. He’s still a capable League One keeper who’s played nearly 300 times for the club so gets my respect. Is he good enough to start? No, but if we need to him to stand in for a few games that’s fine by me.

There’s a difference between stating your Opinion - that you think he’s not the player he was- and abusing him.

Hope that helps.

Not really. It’s the truth, he makes daft decisions, comes for balls and flaps at them, and then when the ball ends up in the net, he stamps around “wtf happened there”.

The defence has more to deal with, and clearly don’t feel comfortable having him in the sticks behind them. Adding more pressure on them.

He’s got to go, and he is a clown, and not Lge 1 standard.
