Because we would be acting unprofessionally blabbing about a situation before any agreed joint statement between clubs.
there are other players who are going to be affected, (like for example, the keeper at the club where he is likely to be moving to) who will also need to be informed before an announcement is made
Because the loan club will have a timetable for announcing the news and will expect us to abide by it. If we don't it will affect our reputation as a reliable loan destination with Brighton (and elsewhere)How is it unprofessional for us to inform our fans that a player has left? Nothing more than that? If he hasn’t left then why could he play or just be on the bench today?
Hes going to Bristol City.If Beadle has gone and is off to Sheffield Wednesday then the current Wednesday keeper (Dawson) can feel hard done by if he gets replaced on today's showing. He's saved 2 penalties in the first 7 minutes against Cardiff.
Fair play to him. I expect his behaviours to considerably improve.Hes going to Bristol City.

Fact Kip?Hes going to Bristol City.
Buckingham did say today that there is a contingency plan in place if Beadle goes. The biggest issue with Beadle being recalled is if Eastwood is in goal come the Carlisle game. That would show a real lack of planning from the club. I’d argue it would be nice for a new ‘keeper to get a run out too before a league game but these things don’t always go to plan..
it’s standard communication practice in any business really, it’s not weak at all. Then we are very weak if agree to that. Nothing wrong with telling Brighton that we will be announcing he has left us if they don’t do it by a certain time, if they don’t like that then tough. Other clubs won’t care if we do that.

We don’t even know the status of the recall, if there indeed is one. Maybe the deal isn’t signed yet? This is in total speculation. What to keep your own “customers” in the dark? Yeah, it’s a great look.
I know. But we were also lead to believe there would be a striker here before todays game. Therefore I think it’s best to wait and see.Buckingham did say today that there is a contingency plan in place if Beadle goes.

Either way, communicating something like this which is inportant to both clubs should of course be done in an aligned way. We have no reason to P**s off Brighton, and it would be wildly unprofessional to just announce it anyway because some fans insist on hearing about everything as soon as they think it’s happened.
If you have an agreement with another club I am not sure that it is ever sensible acting unprofessional and breaking that trust?I would rather P**s off Brighton than 3000 customers, but then maybe I have my business priorities wrong.
Tbh I find it mental that this sort of non-communication is seen as wild disrespect of the fans. Think we need to get thicker skins if this is disrespectful.3000+ Oxford fans have paid good money following their team to Coventry today to find our No.1 Keeper absent with absolutely no explanation.
Mental that people on this forum think our club should show more respect to f**king Brighton than to our own supporters.
