OK, you've sold it to me! Let's get him in and win this league by Christmas!!I’d play him at CAM. Sat in front of Brannagan and Mcguane. Ridiculous

Ah. Jan loan it is thenThis article from two weeks ago? The "once he returns from injury" is the key bit I think. He definitely hasn't returned from injury yet.
Middlesbrough winger Marcus Browne expected to go out on loan upon return » The72 - Football League News
Middlesbrough winger Marcus Browne is expected to be loaned out once he returns from injury, according to Football League World. Middlesbrough don't have too many options in wide areas as things stand. The departure of Nathaniel Mendez-Laing and Marvin Johnson means they are looking for new...the72.co.uk
Robinson did allude to having a few different systems this season, including 2 up top, one in behind the other and a diamond style midfield. I think the players we've brought in so far allow us to have far more flexibility this season.Harrison is not comfortable playing the lone striker role!
Not sure KR is even looking to play two up top, but you never know.
I’m reasonably happy with Taylor, Winnall, Agyei and Whyte as our main options.
He’s definitely on his way here then! The bloke hasn't played a minute in pre-season, has only just stepped up towards full training and was originally given a return date of October.
I'd be very surprised if he ended up out on loan in this window and even if he does, it'll be a while before he's up to full speed.
Well, I guess his is injury prone so would make sense!Just reporting what I’ve seen on The 72, mate. Would I take him? Absolutely.
You're right, Whyte is another striker option. I really want to see more of Dan this season so in a way hope we don't sign another striker. Plus the money (if there's any left) should go on a defensive player.Harrison is not comfortable playing the lone striker role!

With squad limits and an abundance of attacking talent, signing him (and having to pay a fee to do so) would make no sense. To be honest, it didn't really make sense at the time unless you were offloading Agyei or Winnall. Now that Pompey have signed a striker, do we think the Harrison move could be back on?
I’d include Henry in there, he and Taylor do work well off each other.Harrison is not comfortable playing the lone striker role!

Like you say he's not needed, unless of course KR is planning to move someone on which wouldn't surprise me at all!!Harrison would be a bad signing IMO. Not necessarily because he's a bad player, I just think with the squad limits and our current very strong attacking options it would be a wasted wage and may possibly limit game time for Agyei and Cooper who I think are both good prospects. I was up for it at the start of the window, I hope we avoid it now. fullback and CDM cover should be all we look at unless a ridiculously good player becomes available.
I really hope Sam Winnall gets up to speed. Still not entirely convinced with him unfortunately.Like you say he's not needed, unless of course KR is planning to move someone on which wouldn't surprise me at all!!

Now you’ve done it…Keep those fingers crossed they come through the next few days and the first few games unscathed!
.....and not enough players in others.
Unless I've missed something, everyone apart from Hanson is fit for Saturday aren't they?
In which case at least three decent forwards (Sykes, Cooper, maybe Agyei?) aren't even going to make the bench.
But if, heaven forbid, Sam Long were to suffer a long-term injury, then I presume Forde would be playing right back.....and as solid and versatile a player as he is, he's a liability back there against top class wingers (Hull away last year being a classic example)
Our forward options are good enough for promotion this season.....it seems crazy to risk everything by not having defensive cover.
In short - one more right-sided defender, please! Then we're good, and can reassess in January.
He’s no Sam Long, but I can’t really remember Forde having a bad game for us?I thought Forde played really well at right back in the second leg at Blackpool, perhaps a bit harsh saying he’s a liability.
