We need an out an out striker OUFC. Someone that can find the back of the net on a regular basis.

Now get to work, and get a goalkeeper in for gods sake.

Not holding my breath on this one but will back him 100%.
Replaced one of the two wingers we’ve just lost so another 4 to come?

He can play up front in the sort of Joseph style of aay

Surely we can't have another of those. Remember, we are going to have another of those soon when Harris gets re-positioned. We need that elusive striker, a proper number 9 who can't play wide, just down the middle up top. We can't keep trying to make one work, just go and throw the budget at a proper goal getter.

In terms of names, for once, other than those that have already appeared on the forum and/or Twitter, then nothing else.
It's definitely hush hush for details of other things being worked on.

We don’t have a blabbermouth manager down the Red Lion in Marston or engaging in pillow talk with LH or letting LBS in on transfer dealings to pass on at the Cowley Burger King drive thru nowadays.

Dishy Des is the quiet type.

Well, credit where it's due, they've caught us off guard with what looks a thoroughly decent signing again. We clearly know what we want, even if it takes 6 months to get them. If there's one thing we can't possibly moan about, it's the appointment of Ed Waldron. If we haven't already, he's another whose long term future needs looking at.

Ed Waldron seems to have been a bit of a masterstroke of an appointment seems to know how to get difficult deals done. Can't imagine Burey was a straight forward deal having not long signed for his current club and it being abroad. Mentioned in his interview he found out on the new year so near enough a 10 day turnaround.

Does Burey’s signing mean we’re going back to 4-1-2-3? Or will we continue with 3 at the back and he takes one of Brannagan/Rodrigues’ slots behind the striker? Or a new formation altogether…?

Yep, great signing based on the description of him and some pace out wide is exactly what we need with Browne, Murphy, Mills and Edwards all crocked or unreliable.

Would love to see him do well and be a potential permanent addition in the summer, as it's clear his move to Odense hasn't gone as planned.

Now all we need is a keeper, a centre midfielder, another winger and 2 centre forwards and we should have a squad with some reasonable depth.
