Ex-Staff Liam Manning

'Tim Williams, Oxford United’s Chief Executive Officer, added: “I am hugely disappointed to be losing Liam and Chris at this stage of the season, particularly given the support they had been given.'

That's well put - disappointed and pissed off if not actually calling him a Snake.
100% a dig by Tim Williams, clearly not happy at all.

Good point. So he could be the first Oxford manager to get a red card three games before he left. Or the first manager Oxford manager to get a red card in his last home league game.

I love made up records. I recently heard a podcast that stated that Haaland was the youngest player to score 27 goals in the Champions League!

Me and my son are always saying this ! The amount of random facts dished out by Sky etc is ridiculous. I get it if it's a landmark like 10, 25, 50 etc but stuff like 'It's Tottenham best start to a season after 7 games since 1982' is meaningless drivel and no ones bothered by that sort of rubbish - who cares ! They just match up time frames that mean nothing to a stat and try and make a story out of it.
