I think there are rules against it aren't there?
A small fine I think. Didn't stop Exeter in their game vs Reading.

Really hope it's not 21 Nov as I'll be away, but looks as if that will likely be it (although given FA Cup 1st Round is 4 November, and it would presumably need to be arranged following the determination of those fixtures, might that leave too little turnaround time to organise such a big fixture? You would imagine TVP would want to know well in advance when the fixture will take place to allocate resources appropriately ). Sat 2 Dec would be ideal, would much rather this was a weekend game than a midweek. Given the congestion of fixtures, it would also be less likely to get pushed to the Sunday you would have thought.Just been looking at midweek and other alternative dates - could be a while depending on cup performance of both clubs

Given the number of fixtures postponed, it’s high time that the EFL stopped scheduling L1 fixtures for international weekends.Given the police resources necessary for any derby game, you really would’ve thought that the EFL would manually remove any such fixtures from international weekends across the pyramid, before they’re released. I can’t understand the point in allowing such big games to be scheduled like that when they know there’s a really good chance of them getting moved.
But surely 21st November is definitely not an option as it's in another international break? It’ll either be 21.11 (subject to no FA Cup replays) or 19.12.

Yet further negative impact of the paintpot trophy by my reckoning...
This season (don't recall it previously being the case) they appear to have spread out the 'matchdays' across multiple midweeks. So whereas us and Reading (and everyone else) could have played all our paintpots on the same days, they are now staggered - further limiting the mutual available midweeks for postponed League games.
It's already happened with our trip to Lincoln. 3 of the other L1 fixtures postponed that day (September 9th) were played the following Tuesday (19th) because none of those 6 clubs had paintpots. We did, Lincoln did - so we fall behind. We could have even played Lincoln tonight had they not have a paintpot game.
Other than this time last week (when there were proper scheduled League fixtures), there's been paintpot trophy games every Tuesday since August 22nd.
Why oh why can't paintpot games all happen on the same midweek? Get it done for everyone. 3 midweeks and the group is done. Instead, by my reckoning, they're doing it over 12 (twelve) midweeks - up to and including the 21st November.
At this point it's like someone at Football League HQ is deliberately trying to cause maximum distruption for a f**king laugh.
