Sounds like he may be on trial, rather than waiting to sign.

Can’t see it, would you take a ageing winger on when you have a promising youngster like Tyler. If maybe it’s true and there is interest in him.
Find the next youngster to bring through, and repeat.

To be fair, I was calling for an out-and-out striker earlier in the week!

But the more quality forwards we sign that are not traditional strikers (especially when we're giving them the #9 jersey!), the likelier it seems that Manning has decided that there's just not enough good out-and-out strikers out there on the market at a manageable cost. And therefore we're going to try something different.

Could be the exciting return of Oxelona (though could also be an epic disaster)!
Damn you and your honesty…..😀 but you could well be right, either way, I’m looking forward to seeing how we set up for the PSF’s, only a week to go.

“This is a really big signing for Wigan, as they’re getting a player who is proven at this level, and he’s about to enter his peak years.“

I know times are tough at Wigan, but on what planet is Clare a really big signing!?
Fell out with old Karl straight away didn’t he.

Bet Harris wasn’t cheap. Reckon Goodhram is going,
So he should be if the offer is 7 figures. Can't see a down side for the club in that scenario, to be honest. Just a shame for us all not to see what he could have achieved in an Oxford shirt but there's a bigger picture there for us that mustn't be clouded by romance. That's the sort of thinking that lands certain players 3 years contracts in exchange for absolute mediocrity. Time we thought differently.

Or leads to certain players leaving who could take us to the next level while doubling or trebling their transfer fee .
Shouldn't always be looking to see young talent first offer that comes along.
