That would be telling...OMG, WHERE DID YOU SOURCE THIS SECRET INFO?

They have voted only 2 voted against the proposal. Danny Wright and Nigel Prestige. Only 4 watched on Zoom and two from the public attended. Disappointed but that’s the way it is. Well done to Danny and Neil for standing their ground . The chairman declined to vote.

I watched and recorded the OUFC relevant part of the meeting and have the footage of Cllrs Middleton and Mawson voting in favour of KPC which is clear evidence of predetermination and should no longer be able to vote on this issue on the other councils they sit on.
KPC Chair Cllr Prof. Robey abstained from voting as it was a done deal but couldn't hide his delight and made a quip about preserving his neutrality to the end.
It's extremely inappropriate for them to have taken this step during the consultation period and its clear its a cynical attempt to influence people's responses. It's just another act in a long line of disingenuous acts by KPC which Cllr Miller must ignore. I do fear however that as Cllr Miller will agree with his fellow LibDem.
What have they actually voted for?
The reality however is that KPC's views are meaningless. They have no control over the land and absolutely no say in what it's used for.
They are pretty pathetic people aren't they?A formal position of object to the stadium.

Why not engage with the consultation process? Genuinely engage.
They do know that their vote means nothing in the grand scheme of things though?A formal position of object to the stadium.
Yes but you can guarantee they and FoSB will publicise the hell out of this decision in an attempt to influence people's responses.

If I were OU I would investigate the issues at SB in depth before any agreement was signed.Exactly. They’re whistling in the wind. If this was SB, they’d still have influence being a sub-licensee of that. Since they don’t, why do we care what they think? What influence do they have? OCC and CDC make the decision - not KPC.
You bet your bottom dollar that when the stadium development occurs and OUFC take on the costs of the pitches at SB anyway, they’ll be delighted.
If I was OUFC I would give them the bare minimum after the way KPC and FOSB have acted. If I were OU I would investigate the issues at SB in depth before any agreement was signed.

It is like anything though. They will, but I still stand by the fact that if we can't get 10 x the number of FoSB responses then we have really fucked up. 10,000 home fans against Accrington only a few weeks ago means we should have absolutely nothing to worry about with the surveys.
Unfortunately though, too many expect others to do it instead and they could be seriously letting down the club by not giving up a few minutes of their time.
We must also not forget, that many Oxfordshire communities, in general, feel much aggrieved by there inability to alter outcomes, in regard to housing developments. It is like anything though.
Too many against, also expect others to do it. But Middleton and followers are good at rallying the antis.
I am.not sure that Oxvox and United supporters have done as much? It is persuading people to fill in the consultation form.
