Seriously, when was the last time we signed a hot commodity like Rodrigues, over and ahead of a bunch of other big clubs, without him having any prior connection to OUFC? Feels like a very long time. Immense signing in every way......

......however, it doesn't fill any of our top five most needed positions, which for me are still:

1) ST
2) DCM
3) RB
4) LB
5) Another ST

Great start to the summer. Lots more work to do!

We're a completely different proposition now
It's hard for fans at other clubs to understand just how bad things were here and how much it's changed now
Players are more privy to what's been happening as they can talk to each other directly and get the true picture
What I was saying all last season. All footballers talk to each other. There was a rotten egg stinking the place out last season. We all know who. People didn’t want to come because of him and him alone.

Have we learnt nothing

I thought things might change but no

If Cardiff Pompey and Derby are interested we won’t get him
It’s another Cadden situation, we spend lots of time courting a player but ultimately he doesn’t sign for us.
This happened frequently under KR we must put a time limit on this sort of player because if we don’t we end up getting nobody and will be scrabbling around in August for someone.
We seem to have no trouble picking up defenders in the past Atkinson Dickie Mc Nally that none of the bigger clubs were after why can’t we do that for strikers
Let’s not put ourselves down so much next time! We are f**king massive!

Seeing as Plymouth gave him an offer, it would suggest he’s got more to give, even at 34. Manning wants experience and we need bodies so I can see it happening.

Can you imagine a talented, fit, athletic footballer, about 6ft tall and with some presence about him, signing for us under KR in the middle of June? With plenty of competition from other clubs?

Well done Manning and Hogg, well done OUFC
Under Robinson, an average, fat, slow, crocked midget would have been signed just before the deadline.
We’d then find out he was the son of a mate.

Reading the Notts county forum some think they’re better than us some with him all the best albeit a strange move. Apparently we didn’t nurture Jodi Jones through his injury problem.
Sour grapes
Jodi Jones was loaned to Notts County and got them into the Playoff final. You’re welcome.
Jodi was treated abysmally by our ex-manager. I’m pleased he did well for Notts County And wish him well.
