Ex-Staff Karl Robinson

I think the ex manager spending weeks in Spain before having less than a starting team of players in pre-season whilst entertaining Lee Ryan of Blue was maybe an indication of where the season was going.
I don't think I can put myself through another shambles summer again. I went to the pre-season friendly against AFC Wimbledon away, it looked such a mess, I couldn't believe it. It can never be allowed to happen again.

We have to actually get sensible business done this summer. We need to go into the first game of the season with a fit, balanced squad, with suitable cover across the park. No more handing out contracts to mates so they can coach the team, no more favours for "great pros" in the twilight of their careers.

Let's get fit, hungry players with something to prove, from non-league or League Two if need be.
Also - Plymouth Argyle really utilised the loan market last summer and got promoted.
Jay Matete - loaned from Sunderland
Sam Cosgrove - loaned from Birmingham
Nigel Lonwijk - loaned from Wolves
Morgan Whittaker - loaned from Swansea
Bali Mumba - loaned from Norwich

Five players who all had something to prove from the Championship. That's fine, combine some Championship loans with some players who have shone in the lower divisions and we may at least have an entertaining season.

I always got the impression that KR always intended to use the loan market to fill some of the gaps at the end of the window, with nice shiny 'names'or'prospects' from up the ladder to add shine to/gloss over the summer....

...but when the time came there wasn't the normal range to choose from, his get out of jail card was gone and his goose well and truly cooked

Following their implosion last night and given the fact that KR is establishing himself up there in the vicinity, I can see him in charge of Sheffield Wednesday next season…

There's no chance (in my opinion), if you do due diligence I think it's hard for Karl to get another job in football, unless it's nepotism based.

Which is nepotism-based.
Really? I believe nepotism is where someone undeservedly gets a job because of who they are (friend, relation) that they are not suited for it. Now as much as you and I have seen Robinson's faults writ large I very much doubt Allardyce is the kind of person who would hire someone he thought was crap just because he knew them. In fact I would imagine you only get the one chance to be crap with him.

Why would Allardyce care? It's only for a few weeks and all the clown has to do is shout about passion and commitment. Plus the clown gave his grandson a league contract when he was struggling to get a game for conference North teams - nepotism repaid with nepotism.

You have just perfectly explained how KR got the job at Leeds, my friend!

Why would Allardyce care??? Er, money? He'll be on a massive pay day if he steers Leeds to safety and I doubt he would hire anyone he though a clown in such circumstances. We may hate the fact, but, although you and I may not hold Robinson in high regard it doesn't mean others don't I'm afraid. I hate it as much as you believe me!!

Well, I have taken @Ricky Otto words to heart and you have every right to your opinion of the Clown. However I have no doubt that he's got his position with Leeds because or favours he's done Allardyce.

Of course he has.

Why would a Premier League football club give a job to a LEAGUE ONE manager, off the back of one of their worst runs in history, if not nepotism?

KR really did a job on some of our fans.

I can't stand KR. But all managers do favours to their mates. Jim Smith used to get decent players sent to him because he was very popular in the game. KR will probably try to reinvent himself as a cheeky chappy #2.
