If we get him then imo KR is here for another season. Would be a fantastic signing if it is him.
 
am I the only one not that arsed with another striker? Said it all season, without service every striker in this team will struggle. Rather we bought some creative players or a CDM rather than a striker. Smith and Taylor is plenty for the system we play. Feed them and they will score goals

I’m not convinced of that but I’d imagine the asking price is a fraction of what was being asked for last summer. I doubt Plymouth will take him up with them so it would mean losing him for free. We talked earlier about smart ‘club transfers’ rather than KR transfers and this would be one. I can’t see any manager not wanting him at this level so I can see why we may go for it regardless of KR’s future. If it happens he is bang out of excuses.

I can’t think what other strikers we looked at in the summer if it’s not him?!

I will just reinforce now that I still believe one of our best moves in the window is keeping Findlay - whether that’s luck or judgement I don’t know. I still believe this time next year he will be a fan favourite.

I was thinking more along the lines of Grant & Tim…I wouldn’t even go there with Carl, I mean Karl🤣

Having said that he did change the system for the Ipswich game and then back again for the Wycombe game, not sure what system we adopted for The Burton game!!

Probably right about that. Would be a massive statement by the owners if it was him.
