He's worn it out.Where’s Bazzer’s “where’s the striker?”??!
Don't worry though, I have a spare:
Where are the two strikers we need?

A good addition to our front line. Can carry the ball and go at defenders.
Hall // Mackie // Henry // Browne // Obika to fill 4 spots.
Plus Whyte
I think Kip might have been being a tad sarcastic!

Let's just hope he's better than the last premiership winger we borrowed ...Agreed.
Even if he is, I can remember the comments when we signed Roofe so while it doesn't seem the most inspiring signing I'll wait and see as even supposed "wow" signings can turn out to be utter flops*.
*I can remember the hype and big money signings of David Leworthy, Colin Greenall as well as Andy Burgess and they can hardly be described as successful.
Hmm. I thought the model was to buy good players from Prem reserves who are then actually our players? Or have I missed something?

Cautious is OK, negative notGod I wish the negative (not constructive) posters would just fk off
The difference is that we actually signed Roofe, so when he turned out to be great he was our player and we could sell him for £3m. If Browne is brilliant (and btw he has never started a first team game), then West Ham probably take him back at ChristmasAgreed.

What a signing!
Are you ok. I mean do you need a Doctor...
I think you will find the point of a forum is to have y'know a debate. I am questioning a transfer policy that appears to have shifted from buying prem reserves (with sell on value) to importing loanees (with zero sell on value). That doesn't mean that I want us to do badly. It simply means that I can't get very excited about signing a West Ham player who will be here for nine months at best. If you can't cope with someone having a different pov, then why not create another thread- call it 'summer transfers. Positive comments only' and then all you will get is good vibes. So we will all be happy!God I wish the negative (not constructive) posters would just fk off
