that could say more about the players there No?
Not necessarily. It could be that the system has changed, that the old manager was asking people to do things they couldn't or was playing people out of position, etc....

We need someone who is in touch with the lower leagues. We could appoint some ex- premiership star, but they won’t have a scooby about League One. I would like to see someone who can bring players in from the conference and League two and develop them, without having to pay over the odds because he’s a big name at Oxford.

so in their eyes (said Manager) we are not a Long Term Project then? they are coming for the money we have until the next £££££ are dangled in front of them.

personally not the way i want us to go. Get us to the Top 30 sustain it and grow from there.

How long is a long term project? Karl has been here 4 years and we actually sit lower than when he took over, regardless of nearly getting us up and a play off campaign. I don't see a problem of a manager coming in building a squad and getting us up next season and then moving on to another club higher up for more money. We would then be in a stronger position to employ a manager to continue the upward spiral.

There is no manager who isn’t taking a good offer from a bigger club in a higher position if that offer is made, why would they?

What you are saying is employ someone who is never going to be good enough to get that offer, who won’t actually achieve anything with us. We already have that man.

The cost of progress is you lose people, the skill is to replace those people. The alternative to that though is to stagnate or regress.

Yet we know that wasn't the case, they had played ok prior to Fulham.

The button was pressed due to £££££££

Forest had the guts to back their under fire manager with a new contract, and they went on beat one of the top teams in Europe yesterday...

Football isn't that black and white.
Come on, do you honestly think there's a comparison to be made between sticking with Steve Cooper (who got them from the Championship relegation zone to the Premier League in less than a season) and Karl?

Forest got promoted under that manager last year 👍

Not 7 points off their play off aim behind Wycombe like Gobbo.

No. And about the same amount as comparing him to Gerrard as well, which is what I was commenting on.

I'll say it again, just because one team sacks a manager and has a good result, it doesn't mean it works for every team.

There are plenty of sticks to attack KR with, use one of those instead of making silly comparisons.

Of course it’s not black and white. But quite frankly we’re an embarrassment at the moment. The pure delusional post match interviews are enough to warrant a dismissal, literally lying through his teeth.

An under fire manager who got them promoted last season! You can't compare what Karl has achieved in his time here to what Steve Cooper has achieved at Forest in a lot less time.

Once again, I wasn't 🤷‍♂️ I was saying you can't compare sacking a manager at one club being of any relevance to the position of a manager at another...

Well….
Our chance of automatic promotion….. GONE
Our likelihood of reaching the playoffs…..GONE
Our decent budget for last summer ……GONE
Any shape, organisation or discernible tactics….GONE
Any attacking threat ……. GONE
Any entertainment or thrills during a match ….. GONE
The atmosphere in the ground…… GONE
The support of many fans …… GONE
SO….
Why are you still here, Mr Robinson?
