Shades of Pep’s Wigan interview post-game today. Which seems apt given that we’ve seemingly decided to copy Clotet’s ridiculous transfer policy.

There is a lot more than meets the eye going on at the moment. I'm going to leave it at that, albeit, very cryptic, but let's just say we need to cut Karl some slack at least in the immediate future and over the past few weeks.

Someone will probably, quite forcibly, correct me on this, but I’m not convinced on field success is as urgent as some believe. Not at this moment in time. I think their main priority for now is SB. Fortunately for Karl that is buying him time to sort his mess out.
What so we the fans, get our hard earned money taken off us, for not trying for promotion mmmmmmm🤔

I'm not cutting anyone slack just because you say there is more than what meets the eye, come out and say it or don't bother at all !

I'm sorry but unless you can give more information I'm not cutting him any slack at the end of the day I'm a fan of oufc not KRfc and he gets judged on what I see on the pitch and at the moment it's crap

It's not for me to say. Just remember that the players and staff all have lives away from the game and the club.

Is that before the noose tightens, enough is enough, time he went

People have lives away from work in every profession and it doesn't mean they can't be scrutinised or even sacked from a workplace does it?
Of course, but I don't think many employers would drop an employee who has shown great loyalty and leadership in dark times at a time when maybe that personal loyalty and support needs to be reciprocated. Most employers have some empathy and humanity.

The bloke is marmite, I get that. I think he has taken far too much on his own shoulders and that is as much his fault as any one else's. But right now we are still four points off the play offs with 10 games played. The fact that we are as pissed off as we are about the start of this season shows how far our expectations have come under MApp and KR.

I think he has earned enough credit over the past few years to at least give him until January. If I were on the board I would be telling him that he needs to get a DoF in whether he likes it or not and that he should review one or two of the staff he has around him. Regardless, I think we need to show him some loyalty right now.

Without doubt the performances have been poor so far, but we aren't shipping lots of goals and we have half our team out. History has shown we will come good. If we fall short again or come January there has been no improvement, then it really is time to start asking questions. Until then I'm giving KR the benefit of the doubt.

What will change up to january? We will just be in a worse position than we are now with less time to save off relegation.

This is football though,

We'll have had a number of our key players back in the squad and a chance to judge our true ability.
Oh those pacy wingers and new full backs plus the midfield strength weve been craving for 3 seasons. I forgot about them. Edit. Forgot about the L1 standard keeper as well.

What the key injury prone players??
Other than Baldock which of the other three I've mentioned have been injury prone? Taylor played practically every minute of football last season and scored 20 goals. Moore was a constant presence. Prior to joining us in the summer Murphy had only missed six games through injury since the 2017/18 season.

Who are the key players then?? It's nearly October, oh don't tell me it's bad luck..
