Transfer targets?

OxBible reporting some interesting names, Bogle, Sam Smith (Reading), Jordan Graham and Mavadidi (spelling) from Arsenal!

And Luke Garbutt from Everton, Left back.

Tbf I have heard the Sam Smith one from elsewhere but 3rd hand as a rumour even then, so haven't a clue if the ultimate source is genuine or somebody as accurate as Oxbible.

Not the toughest to come up with. We have been linked with Garbutt previously with the Everton links. Mavadidi was with KR at Charlton (I think!?). Graham was here previously and Bogle is clearly available. I guess the smith one comes about due to Tiger Reading links?

That being said, they are a handy crop to be linked with.

That can’t have been KR’s plan to jet off to Ireland with such a small squad?
Supposedly playing competitive games too, so, not ideal.

that's not everyone no Kelleher,McMahon or Eastwood there.

Might as well give Pekalski a game if we're still paying him! And get James Roberts back, we need a striker on the bench

**Update on my transfer shortlist posted late April**

Italics as potential replacements if required

GK
Christy Pym [22] Exeter City - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christy_Pym
Not required due to Eastwood signing a new deal.

RB
Todd Kane [24] Chelsea - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Todd_Kane
Unlikely to return having signed Cameron Norman and Tony McMahon

Lee Hodson [26] Rangers - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lee_Hodson
Played under KR during MKD promotion season and has featured sparingly for Rangers. Was the reason Baldock was allowed to come on loan to us.
Future at Rangers remains in doubt although he has recently expressed his desire to break into the team under Gerrard. Either way not required due to our recent signings.

LB
Ricardinho [33] Unattached - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ricardo_Ferreira_da_Silva
One of our better players this season and although getting no younger clearly has technical class above L1. KR confirmed he will have talks about a cheaper deal.
I think at this stage, having flown out to Ireland without him, we can assume he's going elsewhere. Definitely not opposed to him signing though.

Mitch Hancox [24] Macclesfield - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mitch_Hancox
Can play higher up the pitch and leagues judging by the 35 apps in the Championship for Birmingham
Signed for MK Dons.

Luke Garbutt [24] Everton - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Luke_Garbutt
Unlikely to drop to L1 but Everton are willing to let him go. Could our scouse contingent convince him?
I still think it unlikely, but rumours are circulating...

Greg Leigh [23] Bury - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greg_Leigh
Kept Skarz out of the team at Bury and has always impressed when I've seen him.
Signed for NAC Breda.

CB
Jordan Moore-Taylor [24] Exeter - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jordan_Moore-Taylor
Captain with 140 apps already; think we've been linked in the press.
Signed for MK Dons.

Jordan Willis [23] Coventry - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jordan_Willis_(footballer)
Another young CB with 140 apps who can also fill in at RB. An unlikely target if Coventry win promotion.

James Lawrence [25] Trencin - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_Lawrence_(footballer)
2x domestic European titles, 2x domestic cups, 2x seasons of Champions League and Europa football with a pedigree at Arsenal and Ajax...and born in Oxfordshire! A left-footed, ball-playing CB who can play CM.
A wildcard option, worth a scout!

CM
Brad Inman [26] Peterborough - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brad_Inman_(footballer)
Surplus at Peterborough, done well at Crewe and Rochdale.
Now transfer listed at Peterborough; unlikely with the signing of Carruthers?

Wingers
Erhun Oztumer [26] Walsall - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Erhun_Oztumer
Double figures goal tally last two years; probably going higher
Signed for Bolton.

Otis Khan [22] Yeovil - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Otis_Khan
12 goals in 65; Wouldn't break the bank coming from Yeovil.
Has been linked with Championship/L1 clubs, including us.

Hakeeb Adelakun [21] Scunthorpe - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hakeeb_Adelakun
Completely tore us apart at the Kassam and has over 100 apps in this league. Probably a non-starter transfer-wise.
Available on a free and would be a statement of intent; linked with a number of Championship clubs.

Viv-Solomon Otabor [22] Birmingham - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Viv_Solomon-Otabor
Decent reviews at Blackpool who have been on great form of late. At his age and with new management I can see Bham listening to offers. Would provide pace we desperately need.
Would be a great signing if he fails to break through at Birmingham this season.

Potential Loans: Sullay Kai-Kai, Jordan Graham

Attacking Midfielders
Ben Reeves [26] Charlton - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ben_Reeves
Seems to follow KR around but has a year left on his deal at Charlton. Technically better than anyone we have in this position.

Chuks Aneke [24] MK Dons - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chuks_Aneke
Top pedigree and a goal scorer. However whichever league MK Dons are in they'll have a competitive budget so he wouldn't come cheap.
Linked with Sunderland

Sammie Szmodics [22] Colchester - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sammie_Szmodics
Have to admit I haven't seen him play but he gets good reviews and has scored 12 from midfield this term.
Linked with £m move to PL Bournemouth

Duane Holmes [23] Scunthorpe - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Duane_Holmes
See Adelakun.
Strongly linked to several Championship clubs.

Bruno Andrade [24] Boreham Wood - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bruno_Andrade_(Portuguese_footballer)
Linked with various clubs at this level; 29 goals in 79 from midfield.
Signed for Lincoln.

ST
Jayden Stockley [24] Exeter - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jayden_Stockley
16 goals, albeit his first prolific season. Useful height also at 6"3

Marc McNulty [25] Coventry - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marc_McNulty
20 goals this year and has pace to burn. Again, with a year left on his deal and at a big club, he wouldn't come cheap.
CTFC have turned down multiple bids from Preston.

John Akinde [28] Barnet - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Akinde
Not a great season but 1-in-2 ratio over 160 apps is impressive. Not the best technically but scores goals and would be a better option than Obika. Also unlikely to hang around in the National League.
Transfer listed at Barnet.

Macauley Bonne [22] Leyton Orient - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Macauley_Bonne
Interest elsewhere after a bonne season; could be worth a punt.
Interest from several League 1 clubs

Potential Loans: Joe Dodoo (Blackpool loan), Devante Cole
