Seasider - don't be offended by the jibes. We're all a bit on edge on account of our best player apparently signing for a club considerably smaller than us. If he were signing for one of the big Lancashire clubs like Blackburn, or even a relatively modest club that is still much bigger than Blackpool (e.g. Preston), it would be understandable. But obviously a club that is a relative minnow is hard to take, so no offence.

You understand, it's the equivalent of you losing a player to Cheltenham, a club that even Blackpool are bigger than!

It’s a good attempt but you have to write with a little hint of reality otherwise it doesn’t have the desired results. They do say northerners are far more educated than Southerners so hopefully this can be a learning exercise as well a fantastic football discussion.
