The issue with Forde is that hes probably the best set piece taker at the club. If he doesnt play we lose a significant goal scoring threat.

I noticed that, against Brizzle, he was taking all the corners and free kicks. Why have him take them in a practice game if he isnt going to be in the team against Cambridge?

I agree that he was but I also hope that with Whyte, Holland, Bodin and Williams in the squad now, we have many other options - wingers should be able to deliver a pretty nice cross!

There’s quite a difference between dead ball specialists and wingers/players who can deliver good crosses on the run.

Given we're now hitting the squad cap for Over 21s not including keepers, then it might be that someone needs to go out.
Although probably more likely that Hanson and Osei-Yaw won't be registered in this first part of the season to make room for any other additions, unless they're U21.

There’s quite a difference between dead ball specialists and wingers/players who can deliver good crosses on the run.

I don’t agree as I think any of the four players I’ve mentioned could deliver a decent dead ball but hey ho.

Osei Yaw is 22, Hanson is 25. If Hanson can't play for the majority of the time to the end of the calendar year, then it would be daft to register him.

CB: Moore, Thorniley (McNally, Mousinho, Nosakhare)
RB: Long (Forde, Hanson)

DM: Gorrin, Brannagan (Hanson, Johnson)
CM: McGuane, Brannagan, Henry, Sykes (Forde, Hanson, Chambers-Parillon, Goodrham)

LW: Holland, Bodin, Cooper (Osei-Yaw)
RW: Whyte, Williams, Agyei
CF: Taylor, Winnall (Agyei, Whyte, Osei-Yaw, O'Donkor)

I've probably got a few positions incorrect and the above isn't conclusive as you know certain positions can cover each other if needed, like Sykes or Henry out wide, or most of LW to adequately cover RW and vice versa, but it does seem the obvious place for reinforcements is at the back. Certainly no more wingers are needed.
