He is SUCH a charlatan. Theres being optimistic and theres being deluded.

And for those saying we have a midtable budget.... We have just made a team who have the lowest budget by miles look like Brazil.
I reckon KR thought the AC of Accrington stood for AC Milan.

We really did make them look good. :-(

'Stanley overran our midfield & did a job on us ....our 'midfield' sat way too deep ....poor tactics KR ....Atkinson had an off day today....Winnall instead of Agyei though, why?

Most players were poor today. KR takes his share of the blame but the players for me get most with many basic errors and a distinct lack of effort/intelligence, with the odd exceptions in Jack Stevens who was playing their attack on his own at times in the 1st half, Brandon Barker (who was our 1 constant threat) and Sam Long just back (and if I heard correctly had an ear infection). I agree that Agyei should have been on before Winnall however, a strange decision.

I’d rather KR came out and apologised to fans, and said how it was. Something along the lines of “sorry everyone I got it wrong” the buck stops with him today, and I’m sick of hearing saying how much he cares! This is a results business, not a care home. I wish he would take the blame for his tactical mistakes, and poor subs! He never seems to want to accept it when he’s at fault.

Daft post. Last season was great fun up until the game at Wembley.

In a world where binary opinions seem to be expected of everyone, I’ll go against the grain and say I’m somewhere in the middle with KR. In an ideal world I’d bottle his enthusiasm, his commitment to local causes and his attitude to youth with the cold, steeliness or MApp who I never liked much as a person but admired for his football and coaching prowess. Mix those characteristics together and we’d have one hell of a manager.

Agree with this.

The Ageyi situation I just cant work out, whenever I see him play he looks our most dangerous player. If im him I would be asking to leave in the summer, is he ever going to get his chance? Has Taylor going something in his contract that means he needs to start when fit? To come on with 10 mins to go chasing a game is mental

Does KR know his best 11? I really don't think so. Look lost of a game plan far too many times.

Did the donkey work for our equaliser today ....didnt look he was stuggling ....hes 100% Oxford too

Nowt wrong with Long. We looked far better with him playing.

Too bad we didn't bother with a midfield.

Barker is good, Taylor's a decent striker if he gets some service. The 2 CBs are ok but callow, keeper's fine. Branagan can't be expected to manage midfield alone. Hanson did as well as he could be expected to do, Henry didn't see the ball, Shodipo isn't the player to win midfield, Lee's an inside forward.

Do we watch how the teams we are up against play beforehand or does their setup have always to be a surprise?

Dismal, dismal failure. Again. Where does the buck stop?

Can't agree. This is a division with many clubs that are bigger than OUFC with much bigger budgets. Mid table is about right. Play off final last season was over achieving.
How many managers get 3 years of achieving nothing?
Tactically short sighted, players out of position, his comments are sometimes simply plucked out of thin air, such as being happy at 0-0 after 60 mins against relegation fodder Northampton. One way of playing, every team seems to find out?
What would really change?

The reason I say KR needs to go is I think it’s gone stale with his management and also for his own sanity he’s said for three years he needs support from the board they support him but he still f*****g up tactically he messed up the play off final he messed up at home against scum he completely lost the plot against Northampton he signs injured players imo his time is up as someone else has said new owners new manager
I will admit he does a lot for the club in the community and he cares but he isn’t going to take us anywhere we are in the same position as when he took over practically

I understand people are upset after the game, but Sam Long has been very good this season and is easily good enough for a playoff pushing side. Baffles me anyone could think he's not.
i'll give him that he has improved from what he was at the begining of the season but he is margionally better than Ruffles who wont get in Oxford citys side when he gets the boot.....both are shite imo

A lot of our players seem decent but little squad depth (pre-season obsession with signing wingers), leaving us playing a right footed midfielder at left back and no one of McGuanes calibre to replace him. Some of the squad are simply not good enough and Grayson seems a liability. I also get the impression that KR puts his hand in a hat to see which formation and players he uses each match - simply not a good enough approach. I still feel that Fazackerley's departure is sorely missed especially in the defensive strategy and positioning.

If you think either are shite and wouldn't get into the Oxford City side then perhaps football isn't the sport for you, because clearly you don't have a clue.

Wasn't a fan of Long but hes improved massively. Ruffles imo just is not good enough for top 6 league one side.
