Hopefully the injustice of fridays result will fire us up. We have to get Agyei on at the start preferably near Matt who looks so isolated up front. If Long or Ruffs is back we need to get forde upfield.

Stevens
Forde Moore Atkinson Ruffels
Kelly Gorrin Brannagan
Lee Aygei Barker

2-1 Oxford. Late Winnall header off the bench

4-0 today 3-0 at half time we go for the kill we get winnall to break a sweat and actually move agyei score a screamer Stevens will save a dodgy penalty after another s**t show from the ref
I’d be quite happy at 17:00 if that’s come true 😁⚽⚽⚽⚽😝

Have a strange feeling that it won't be "response after Sunderland" and more "season's done" with an awful 0-0.
Hope we show more of the movement and passing from the first half on Friday.
Every game essentially a must win from now on, but we've done it before this season, so why not again.

Feeling a bit meh about the season in all honesty. Looking at the bigger picture we haven’t been good enough to justify a playoff place. Despite mathematics suggesting we can still get there, we’d be stealing a place and there are better, more deserving teams of those auto and playoff positions. We’d all rather be there to celebrate a promotion season so it would be a hollow feeling to make another playoff campaign.

As defeatist as it sounds I’d rather we gave some of the youngsters a go for the last few matches. LCP and Elechi (especially if Ruffels is struggling and Hanson can go to RB) have been on the fringes of the squad and it would be good to see just how capable they are. Giving Luke McNally a few games to settle in ahead of next season, seeing if Nico Jones can be trusted and naming Goodrham in the squad too should be in order.

Lose this one today and the above should be seriously considered for the rest of the season. Doing Blackburn’s development work with Grayson should be much lower on the list of priorities.
