We are not going to get anything out of this as a club, a win tonight would have put us up a few places, instead we have a hard away fixture against the Posh on Saturday which could leave us even more playing catch up and possibly struggling at the bottom of the league.
Crewe should be deducted a minimum of 5pts for calling it off, which would be a warning to others who may have the same idea.
Knowing how weak the EFL are their will be very little chance of that happening.

We are all assuming that the postponement is Covid related and indeed it might be. But neither clubs statements actually say so.

This will happen more and more often, so try e only alternative is to cancel this season unl the birus is defeated, and to think there are some idiots who don’t believe that coronavirus exists and it all BS

This is VERY suspicious & needs a full EFL investigation, parameters being set because this is going to happen regularly. There has got to be penalties otherwise clubs will just call off games when they feel like it!

Let's wait and see what the reason is, if it's covid related we ourselves could have similar problems. Imagine being a club in an area with a very high incidence of the virus like Liverpool.

Was looking forward to tonight's game. Waited before paying for the ifollow pass just in case, then the game was cancelled 15 minutes later! Hey ho.

Outside the stadium Bazzer. Drawing lots on who will knock the door and run away.
There is no joke in this, if they’ve travelled they’ve knowingly brought a team not fit through whatever means but more than likely coronavirus in which care that’s twice and have broken the guidelines and which case a minimum 10k fine through the government and whatever punishment the EFL ? instigate, if however they are still in Crewe which would have been the sensible thing to do if it’s coronavirus related then why leave it so late?

But they’re not they’re closer to stoke

Bet you a fiver it is, even if it isn't. Covid is going to be the universal excuse for everything from here on in.

Some Crewe fans seem to think it could be they have all been tested and haven’t got the results back yet. Tranmere had 7 players out because of COVID and were threatened of a 15 point deduction. EFL where is the consistency?

I think all this talk of points deductions and forfeiting games is premature without all the details. There are going to be a lot of similar incidents and postponements this season.

What is clear, it’s that Crewe have done themselves no favours, and handled both occasions awfully.
