A slight deviation from the subject of computer games of our youth (and an even larger deviation from the actual thread!), but what about TV programmes of yesteryear?

I used to love watching Kick Start with the motorbikes and tried to recreate it on my Grifter in the garden!! And then We are the Champions, especially the water obstacle course at the end. And then Superstars in the evening and Saint and Greavsie at weekends. And with so little live football on TV the FA Cup final was like a royal wedding with all day coverage! Happy Times!!!

chopper or Grifter. which one was best?

Back to Now TV, I've heard that to get a week's now TV pass to work you have to register and enter a credit card number. Then, they have a habit of accidentally putting you on to a contract. Anyone here have any experience of this?

For what it's worth - no.

I've had more NowTV passes than I can remember over the years and never had a problem cancelling them. They might stick you on a subscription by default (especially if you buy a monthly pass), but you can cancel it online immediately and without speaking to anyone and I've never had an issue with it myself.

Hello northern yellow, I am also a Us fan living in Hong Kong. Would be up for meeting up to watch the game. I’ve heard that stadium bar,
In wan chai will play any game that is requested. Could go there...

And through all the spats, insults and trolling the real value of this forum emerges again. @Eaststandboy uniting yellows across the world.

Chopper was probably cooler, but the Grifter was indestructible!!!
the grifter had those horrible hand grips that gave you blisters but the chopper hurt your plums if you came off the seat onto the gear stick.

Would totally agree with this. Now TV is great for letting you cancel when you want.

Play Offs will not be on iFollow at all so the clubs original article is incorrect.

Yes with NowTv you can cancel when you want but you need to actually cancel it and be a grown up and accept responsibility if you don't do that!

Why wouldn’t they do pre-match interviews? They could do that from 1-2 metres away. Or they could even do it via Skype. There’s plenty they could do
On a normal Saturday, they also cover the Oxfordshire non-league sides, Brackley (never understood why) and national sport. We will probably get the same amount of coverage given that we are all they will be discussing

A day later and ppl could've gone down the pub to watch. Heyho they can on the return leg.
Spoke to the landlord of my local who told me that the govt guidelines do not permit the showing of live sport when pubs reopen.

Whether responsibility for adhering to this will lie with the pub or whether Sky will block their broadcast to commercial accounts remains to be seen - I suspect the former, as they can then start charging again, even though it would be breaking the rules if the pub actually put the broadcast on.......

It's on here somewhere but if you live overseas you can use ifollow.

If you're in the UK Now tv seems best if you don't have a sky subscription. £9.99 for a day pass or £25 for 1 month. Somebody listed an offer at CD Keys where you can get a cheap 1 week pass for Now TV too.

I live in Australia and ifollow have told me that they will not be showing any of the play offs as they do not have broad casting rights here.

If it is broadcast in your country on another platform then ifollow will be unable to broadcast it.
