Very proud of Oxford United today and all the work put in over the last few seasons!

For every time we’ve played on TV against the likes of Port Vale or Wimbledon, Cambridge etc. under different regimes and been well and truly embarrassed every part of OUFC should be proud of tonight and how far we’ve come!!

I hope that brings in a few extra fans and they are rewarded at the Wycombe game and I hope the players are too. We were unlucky at times tonight and considering the quality of the opposition we were unlucky not to take them right to the edge.

Heads high!!

You just know Wycombe’z game plan on Saturday will be hitting balls in the air. No way will they be looking to play a game on the deck against us after our performance in the second half

I am really happy and content with that performance, some minor things will niggle, but the way the club expressed itself - from management through to coaches and players was first class and lacking the attitude or chip that other clubs at our level would have. We looked confident, got over the nerves and were happy & confident to play our football. Sure, City had a weaker team out, but you can play what is out there.

The players have set a high bar for themselves now and if anyone out there watching is unsure about OUFC, get to games and see it for yourself. We are going places and with more support, it can only better. Dickie, Baptiste and Brannagan all shone today in their ways, and it shows how good our transfer/player retention policy has become, when you show patience and give opportunities.

As for Cancelo, you ain't all that mate. Doing that against a L1 club is just embarrassing. What a t**t

I thought we were sensational tonight, and did ourselves proud. All ifs and buts, but if one of them chances goes in, then it could of been a different outcome. Sadly it wasn’t to be, but we can hold our heads up high, and I’m sure a lot of neutrals that saw that game would of been very impressed with the way we conducted ourselves.

Man of the match.. All of them!

On to Wycombe, and I’m sure they will be up for it, but with Cadden and Henry maybe coming back we should have enough to get 3 big points.

Stunning. Just stunning. One of those chances goes in from Dickie, Mackie or Sykes and I think we could’ve taken them to penalties.

Let’s get going again.
That was just stunning and it could easily have been 3-3 after 90 minutes - though it would probably have been 3-4 in injury time. Everyone was brilliant barring maybe Agyei who looked a bit adrift. And I think we can agree that Sykes is a wide player not a central midfielder

Great performance!

We held our own in the first half, and totally outplayed them in the 2nd half, and with all the great chances we created, were very unlucky not to get the win.

Great atmosphere, the team, Robbo, and our fans did our club proud tonight, well done everyone.

Onwards and upwards!

COYY

We were chasing shadows a bit in the first half, but gave it a really good go after the interval.

Sykes made a positive difference when he came on.

Considering Brannigan and Baptiste are just coming back from injury they did very well and improved as the game went on.

Dickie was excellent.

Great credit to whole team though and the management. This is light years away from those dark Conference days, and yet it’s not that long ago!

Final note for the night - Viagra being promoted on the advertising hoardings.

I know we’ve struggled to score and performances have drooped a bit but it seems a bit premature for that! ?
Probably the biggest erection that the West Stand will ever see... :ROFLMAO:
