FA Cup 3rd Round Draw

Luton at home...….so that TVP can earn their extortionate fees and stop sitting on their arses outside the Blackbird blocking off what parking spaces are available.

Getting them at home would be fun though and could well be televised given the back story

George Baldock back in Oxfordshire you say?

AFC Fylde would do me. Save the big boys for the 4th round for the purely selfish reason that the kids are costing me a bloody fortune this Christmas so will be nice to put off any extra costs until the New Year! (We'll still go but will be able to pay on the day rather a mad scramble from 5pm tomorrow!!!) It will also not detract from a big month at home. Sell out Wycombe and Lincoln first!

Also, I notice Tony Adam's is doing the draw. I'll be meeting him at an event in a couple of weeks so if we get a s**t team I'll have words on your behalf!!

Manchester United away.
Guaranteed to be on telly (they always are in the FA Cup), guaranteed to be a big crowd = Massive Pay Day.

And then it's a no lose situation.
Either we get a result, which is one of the big cup shocks of recent times, and we can bask in global adulation (and the way Man U are playing - not impossible!).
Or we bow out early and respectably with several more bags of cash, and can concentrate on the League Cup and promotion double!

I'd rather have Liverpool away. It would be good to put our two unbeaten records to the test. Obviously, they may lose between now and then but I can't see anyone beating us in December!!

My only concern is that they wouldn't put that on TV, because they'd decide that an upset was impossible (unless Liverpool played the kids - which itself would be less attractive for the TV folks). And a TV game in Round 3 is, I believe, worth a six figure sum.

Man U's games always get shown, no matter how unexciting the draw. And they're bad enough that the BBC/BT might think an upset was on the cards.....which would then be the story of the round. Ole might get himself fired for it, as well.

Good old BBC put up the regions teams ball numbers but couldn't be bothered to give our number. Useless!!
I predict Wolves.
