FA Cup 1st round draw

Proper cup tie away from home to a minnow. Cracking chance to be on tv too.

Harrogate v Pompey has a good chance too.

Genuinely this.

Of the 'big draws' in the lower leagues, Sunderland, Bolton & Ipswich all ended up at home to other reasonably-sized football league clubs. No giant killing potential there.

How many live games are there Round 1? If it's at least three, as a top League One club playing away to a genuine minnow, you have to think we'll be one chosen?

I think they choose 3. Two on bbc and BT normally have one too.

The other thing to remember is they do that stupid Sunday show, when 8 ties are played at silly kick offs.

they ... the powers that be.. may go for the carrot crunchers derby 'Nam V sw*nd*n ?

You clearly didn't go to Marlow.
that, Marlow game was are real low in OUFCs history ( Marlow drew Sw*nd*n at the skip after knocking us out... there were more than a few U's supporters went to the Marlow away at the skip match , with Rosie and (at least one other) former U's player on Marlow's book.... cant recall who else were ex U's ? ( it wasnt Les Phillips was it? )

Tonbrige Angels was nearly as' bad' as the Marlow FA cup defeat

Anyone who would put money on something at 75/1 that has a clear and unambiguous 1 in 79 chance of happening is a halfwit of the highest order. Either that or they enjoy setting light to their own money.

Although that being said, people still buy lottery tickets and play roulette, so...…….
Why spoil the fun of the draw by trying to insult people?

Yeah it was Les Phillips.

Denis Smith won manager of the month that month as well, think we won every league game.

As long as BBC & BT’s W@nkfest over Salford City is exhausted then I’ll be happy. After all they’ve benefited enough from TV windfalls over the years only because of their “Class of 92” link and now they are just a p!ss poor League 2 side. However, nothing will surprise me when the televised fixtures are announced.
