I think it’s really interesting that a few people are saying we need another striker when we still have Agyei to come in and play. We play with one up top every game, so three in a squad is fine. Yet we only have 3 centre halves (counting Mous) and play two of them every game, yet no one is calling for a new one.

There seems to be this striker obsession. We’ve got Agyei, and Taylor won’t be out for long. Have faith.

One for the Under-23s initially apparently.

23yo who played 30 games last season? Think Under-23s in this case is a polite way of saying here to make up the numbers. Hope he can make an impact and get that deal extended

Trivia:
The second player we have had from FC Dordrecht... Who can name the first?
(clue: horror slide tackle to give away the most clearest of penalties at the County ground... but I still loved him)

I see Sunderland are looking to splash out on Scott Sinclair (reportedly on £30k a week) according to their local paper although not clear if loan or permanent. And Laurens De Bock, a centre half from Leeds.

After the last 4-5 games, I’m convinced the most important signing today would be an experienced CB to play alongside Dickie.

Didn't he also score an OG in that game?
