Away Match Day Thread +++ 23/01/2018 Chelsea U21s v OUFC match thread (EFLT) +++

If it was me I’d recall anyone I could. Even Anthrobus!
Correct - if you referee a game between 2 teams of different standards you bring the standards down to the lower team. Unfortunately OUFC we're unexpectedly bad! The ref could not have expected a team of pros (allegedly) to be worse than a bunch of kids!

I don't quite understand that. Do you mean that the ref will take inexperience into account and make decisions based on that rather than what actually happens on the pitch?

Yes. Goodnight folks. A week to get over it all

YYYYYYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSS

WERE OUT OF THIS s**t COMPETITION AT LAST

Sorry to have to say it but tonight has just underlined why it’s imperative why we get fresh blood in as leader. I’m sure Faz is trying his best but the players will just see him as associated to Peps regime

Think we need a new assistant manager too. Clear out top to bottom.

Let the new manager bring his own assistant in.

Sounded like we had a decent spell at the start of the second half, besides that...

Well, that was pretty lousy...

Hopefully that’s our one atrocious performance for the week out of the way...

Sadly you might be right. People keep saying about the great team we have in place in Faz and CA but what real evidence is there to support this?

Magnificent support by the yellows....then most other players run straight down the tunnel without any acknowledgement

While I am no fan of this competition, I am an Oxford supporter and never want us to do anything but win. Losing 3-0 to a team of kids (however talented) while PRB makes excuses on the radio made for uncomfortable listening. After the last couple of games I am no longer so relaxed abut us gracing L1 next season.

Gvk, obika, tiendali, should be released. Out defence couldn't handle being ran at.
