Just brought a monthly iFollow sub. Got told it came with Pizza trophy too. Yet, based in Singapore. Distribution rights?

To be fair, assuming we're in the final, you'd probably rather face Sunderland than Lincoln - they've been even bigger Wembley bottlers than us recently!
Totally agree, apparently Lincoln are totally " amazing ". Avoid them at all cost.

For £2.50 each game?
yep .... aimed at those outside of the rad ox FM broadcast range ... Radio Oxford on digital cuts off at a kick off & start up again after the final whistle... the ifollow audio is linked to ifollow footage

If you're in the FM radio range you'll hear the live commentary if you tune in for the match coverage

if you're based beyond Digital radio Oxford embargoed during the match ... hence £250 fee for ifollow audio

Does anyone know which countries are showing it on ifollow?

re -vpn's. I tried it a couple of years ago, and couldn't access videos. Turns out it was because my user account was registered with a UK address.

Not being shown anywhere on Canadian TV and still not streaming on iFollow. Every round up to now shown on iFollow over here, this one not despite no other broadcast.

Surely KR will not play is his pet HALL from the start
Money talks here and we must win.

Yeah I know about the broadcast range and online rights etc I just didn't know the price was £2.50. For some reason I thought it was £5, or even the price of a match pass (£10). Now I know its £2.50 that could change things for the future..

With Tranmere’s recent form and a win over Peterborough in the last round they are not to be underestimated. Add in a handful of players with PL experience and Vaughan scoring well this could be our toughest test for a while in any competition.
Depends what team we put out as to how this will go, but whoever it is we’ll have to be up for it but as with Wigan, I expect we‘ll have too much and win in 90 minutes.

I read £50k for tonight's winners then £100k for the final winners and £50k for the losers so a win tonight means a minimum of £100k plus TV money from Sky.

What's missing will be 33% of gate receipts for the final which could have netted over half a million.

I keep hearing those kind of numbers too and have generally been quoting them. However I think I and lots of the local newspaper sites have lazily been taking it from this dubious source. Hull’s local rag have certainly nicked the numbers from there and the EFL haven’t been transparent to exactly the prize fund for each round.

Whilst I believe those fees were correct for when Leasing.com had the sponsorship, there’s no guarantee that they are the same for this season. Jerome mentioned on Rad Ox that he had reason to believe the prize money was reduced for this season and I don’t think anyone would be surprised if it was.

That said, the EFL did manage to bag a sponsor for this trophy this year against the odds and one who probably haven’t suffered too much in the pandemic so perhaps those numbers do ring true. If so, I make it that we’ve made £155,000 so far. That’s much better than the League Cup!

If I were Karl I would put out the strongest line up as possible. It doesn't matter if its the Pizza cup, its still worth £100k minimum if we win this tie. Not to mention the extra publicity the club will get being in a trophy final at Wembley again.
