Difficult call for this game. Our strongest team should have too much for them but, as it's unlikely to be that, I think it will be very tight with maybe just the odd goal settling it one way or the other.

What happens if scores level after 90mins? Extra time or straight to pens?
Straight to penalties.

I think it's pens tonight, no extra time. It's different in the final, where it is extra time then pens. Why on earth they change it for the last match of the competition, I have no idea!

one of many reasons why.... outside of lockdown the EFL trophy ( with 'invited' under 12 teams from above) currently Pizza company sponsored, is not 'popular' with EFL League 1 & League 2 club football supporters... the rules, regs etc are farcical

Given we’re playing Sunday-Tuesday-Saturday, Agyei hasn’t even been in squads recently, it seems odd to not play him. If someone starts instead who played most of the game on Sunday and gets injured then I won’t have any sympathy.

If only Agyei had kicked the ball in the empty net rather than trying to go round the keeper and shoot......he may well have been in the a squad a lot more.

The club are offering an audio pass for tonights match for £2.50. Have they done this before?

Let me guess Sky will be bigging up Tranmere all night for being the underdogs. Shame its not on ifollow, sky TV with the volume down for me it is then.

Our friends in the North are already looking at details for the final. What could possibly go wrong?
To be fair, assuming we're in the final, you'd probably rather face Sunderland than Lincoln - they've been even bigger Wembley bottlers than us recently!

Eastwood
Forde Moore Atkinson Grayson
Hanson
Sykes (/ Hall) Kelly
Lee Taylor Shodipo

^ I think it will be this. Lee and Taylor will start, otherwise starting them on the bench on Saturday Sunday makes no sense. I would have thought Hall would start somewhere, but if Lee plays RW I'm not sure where else he fits in. The poster earlier who had us in a 4231 may be on the money. I would also definitely give Ruffels a rest, it's probably the last chance he'll have to get a night off until the end of the season, and I don't see Atkinson and Moore as needing a rest, as being a CB is less physically exerting than being a bombing-forward-wingback (I would have thought).
