That demonstrates how much the club (on and off the pitch) has developed in 7 years. Also how much Josh Ruffels has developed as well.

I was there. We just couldn't score.
Top photo. Dick Lucas, Dave Roberts, Don Givens(QPR)
Bottom photo. Dave Roberts, Terry Mancini(QPR), Nigel Cassidy, Tony Hazell(QPR)
Great memories.

And Trevor Francis between Lucas and Shuker on the programme cover
I was there; Keith Gough and John Fleming alongside Evo, now that was a lightweight midfield.
I think it's Bob Latchford between Steve Aylott and Shuker.
Certainly was a light midfield. We didn't have many options at the time. Good up front, good defence, midfield bit of a let down.

Evanson was a bit rubbish and then got a lot better I seem to remember. Mind you Cass and Hughie were quite a pair up front and Clarke and Roberts at the back!

Record attendance at the Manor... for a few weeks....I was lucky enough to be there aged 6 , with me Dad....we were on the temporary scaffolding terrace on the Osler road...Big Ron was chaired off the pitch after the final whistle. At the time Blackburn.were flying high in the old first division (now PL) , the U's were mid table in old division 4 (now league 2) .... im not a programme collector, but the matchday programme for that historic giantkilling is one of the few I have

Looks like they are presenting us with a box of wine, and in return we are giving them an old bra... 😁
