Hi guys, new YF member here.



Getting tickets for this game has been an utter shambles. I bought my ST seat fir it last week.
I've been trying since 5pm yesterday to get extra seats but like a lot of other fans it's given me different error messages.
Currently in a phone queue......number 39

My paper ticket arrived in the post on Saturday, ordered online first day available to ST holders.

Just tried to buy a "guest" ticket and no error messages received.

No need to allocate to someone else it just allocated it to me.

I got as far as number 27 in the phone queue, then all just like that the ticket site worked and I managed to get 2 of the few tickets left in the East Stand.

They don't call them ticketdisaster fir nothing

Been on the line for 1 hour and 22 mins so far. It was counting down the que numbers and playing hold music until around 10th in the cue and now it's just been ringing for ages. Not happy.

You can get them online now, finally seem to have sorted the problem out but not many left.

exactly the same happened for me. And I keep trying online but still not working. Shambles!

Just purchased an extra one online so it's definitely working now. Not many tickets left I reckon it will be sold out be the end of the day.

2 tickets together in the east stand will become available after 3pm as I've moved to the North stand for this one.

Reading through this thread, and looking at the ticket sales, is all very mysterious.

Many of you are experiencing difficulty in buying tickets, and yet they're selling, so somebody is buying them!

There are now less than 800 left, and we haven't hit general sale yet. We've sold 8,750 to home fans, and have roughly 5,200 season ticket holders, so have sold an extra 3,550. If I understand correctly members are the only other group who can buy at the moment, which raises the question have we got 3,550 members, or 1,200 who have all bought three tickets each?

It will be interesting to see how many extra come back on sale later today, when season ticket holders seats are no longer reserved. Also it will be interesting to see if the club make any kind of statement about this?

My online account is working with Woking tickets thing so they advised me to ring up.

Just the 50th spot on the line & a 2 hour wait. So won’t be bothering.

Will just watch it on ITV.

The issue may well have been resolved but 1600 tickets went to whoever in the time it took to resolve

Tickets are now back on sale, I'm not sure if this is General Sale, or people who attended the Woking and Exeter games can now buy? But there were exactly 200 tickets left at 3pm when they went off sale earlier, and there are now just under 1,200 available, meaning that just under 1,000 season ticket holders either haven't bought a ticket, or have moved seats for this game.

It'll be interesting to see how quickly these 1,200 move? I suspect very quickly.

There is now that season ticket holders seats that aren't occupied are now showing.

My question(s) on all the ticket issues and problems would be this:

How many other FL clubs use ticketmaster? Do they have similar or regular ticketing problems to OUFC? If not then what’s going on for us?

What other 3rd party systems do other clubs use if not ticketmaster? Are these proven to be better or worse?

Surely we must be able to ascertain what keeps going wrong for us? It can’t be rocket science can it?

It’s almost 2023, we might within a couple of years be able to really put a man on the moon, surely there is a ticket system out there that works almost glitch free for a football club?
