Ex-Staff Karl Robinson

Robinson has found his level, bottom half division 2.

He’ll stabilise them and will get them mid table but that is about it.

In 13 years of management he has secured 1 promotion followed by immediate relegation, and at 2 of his 3 clubs he was given the time to build.

Neville and co don’t seem to have a very good track record in managerial appointments since Salford have been in the league, I think that streak is going to continue with the appointment of Robinson.

The idea that Robinson could stabilise anything is hilarious!

Hopefully Matt Taylor shows Robinson what he’s missing. I’ll be rooting for Salford when they play Swindon though

I wonder if Karl is actually mentally OK enough to be a football manager.

I feel a bit harsh if he's actually not in the right frame of mind
That thought has occurred to me too. Getting sent off in 15 minutes of your first match is crazy

The bloke is a complete a**e, it’s all a show to promote himself. Which our Tim was a bit of putty.
But if you hire a manager and in the first 15 minutes they get sent off you wouldn’t be best pleased would you. As a fan I wouldn’t be pleased either

Is that a record for a manager to be sent off in his first 15 minutes of his first game? Actually don’t think I have ever seen a manager get sent off that early in a game anyway.
