Well I suppose it means the government can take a break from lying.

Chemical Ali strikes againMinority pandering serial whiner continues serial whining on Twatter.
A quick check suggest his business employs 3 people. 1 of them being him, the other 2 (Director and Secretary) his wife.
Give him a few weeks he`ll probably be moaning that the Government aren`t "fully supporting" his "tax efficient business"......
And an absolute steal at £2.5million of tax payers money ....still...all in the name of transparency eh?
You sound like Mike Parry on Talk SportReal news, real views from the real world.
Get you head out of your a**e. My post was about the lies being told on behalf of the government.Minority pandering serial whiner continues serial whining on Twatter.

This explains the problem.WINES.
Not been following this, but isn’t FORM Vi-1 are already required for all wines imported from outside the EU, with no problem.
It does not appear to have blunted trade, so much so,that non EU wines have a greater market share.
Space allocations in supermarkets also confirm this.
The bulk of the population will not notice any difference.
Those who do frequent specialist wine merchants, already pay more for there wines and will not baulk at increased pricing .
Why is the EU shooting itself in the foot? The completion of the VI1 form is being insisted on the the UK government not the EU. It is totally within the UK government's gift to remove the requirement. Expect another u-turn dress-up in another lie regarding the true facts of the situation by our government and the right wing press. That said, English wines are excellent and a good reason to support our own industries.
Foreign wine prices have I would guess gone up by around 10%, and some of them would present a good opportunity to store for the future.
By presenting these challenges with unnecessary form filing bureaucracy, the EU may well be shooting themselves in the foot
You’re correct, it is a UK Gov requirement. Why is the EU shooting itself in the foot? The completion of the VI1 form is being insisted on the the UK government not the EU.
