Ive managed to (temporarily) lose the EFL 'policy' for matches this coming weekend !
( so if anyone can help with a link, it'd be appreciated)

their announcement was made earlier, which included words to the effect of it being down to individual police authorities as to whether matches will or wont take place this coming weekend, as with HRH Queen Elizebeth 2 funeral taking place on Monday, it may put a strain on police resources if certain ( implied high profile) matches take place over this coming weekend.

Given last seasons home game V MK franchise was afforded Cat A status , by TVP, complete with the North Stand steel 'Berlin Wall' in place pre and post match, how soon will TVP announce weather this saturday's scheduled home game is or isn't taking place.

The sooner the powers that be, as in TVP (or for that matter OUFC) can make the situation known either way, the better IMO.... an announcement today gives supporters just 5 days notice, the longer it takes the less notice will be given.

Like you I hope they announce if its going ahead as soon as possible. If not I will arrange to go and do something else to entertain me on Saturday.

found a link, of sorts , the Oxford Mail take on the EFL announcement-

it seems the SAG along with TVP will be making the decision, presumably?

be very handy, IMO if the club could confirm ASAP ,whether Saturday's game will be going ahead

A lot of TVP`s finest will be on mutual aid in London so "non-essential" stuff is likely to be deferred.

A decision should be made today, whatever the outcome, so folk can plan........... but they`ll probably leave it until Wednesday or Thursday.

I can see it being postponed, perhaps they will say any event over x000 will be postponed.

Just watched Sky sports news.
It seems the FA are basically saying that matches are subject to the relevant Police authority in that area giving it approval.
So let's hope they make their minds up very soon so we all have time to arrange something else if needed.

interesting that the bin dippers scheduled away match v Chelsea on Sunday is among the handful of PL matches being postponed this weekend- wonder if its actually due to police manpower needed elsewhere, or if their ( bin dippers) well-renowned aversion/ disrespect to the national anthem is a factor ?

*Edit - SPL St Mirren V Celtic is going ahead on Sunday

Don't think it will be the latter, as they are playing Ajax in the Champions' League tonight, with a minutes silence beforehand.
