Home Match Day Thread Newcastle Replay Tickets............

Might effect sales or even the game?
Why? The people affected were taken to a specialist facility in Newcastle - they weren't wandering round the streets coughing on people there! There's more change of dying from pneumonia or the flu anyway.

For those waiting for the postman to deliver the tickets, I can confirm the club are sending them out and they are arriving on door steps as I type.

Number of home tickets left has actually gone up since Ricky Otto's last count as a small number of new seats appear to have been made available in the South Stand (including in Block 1).

So, at 4.30pm on Friday there are 345 seats still available, spilt:

SSU - 42
SSL - 126
ES - 30
NS - 147

Pretty definite sell out assuming Family stand sells out?

You would have said it was a certainty to sell out after there were more than 2000 sales in the first hour of going on sale to the general database on Thursday afternoon and I still think it will be a full house with one last marketing push from the club (or a good result vs Blackpool) but it’s been much more of a struggle to get over the line than expected. Not helped by the live BBC coverage or the double sale to Brentford.

Still 275 seats left at 1am on Saturday morning (not sure that counting dots is as effective as counting sheep at helping you to sleep!), so sales slowed down to a trickle on Friday afternoon/evening.

Quite a few new seats have been made available in the South Stand Upper including some quite prime ones (and together) in Blocks 10-12.

Seats available as of 6.30pm on Saturday are 273, split:

East Stand - 8 (virtually sold out, just odd ones left in two end blocks)
South Stand Lower - 63
North Stand - 96 (very few apart from Block 22)
South Stand Upper - 105 (mainly new seats)

Hopefully today's result will see us getting the 'sold out' signs up!

Peter Bankes the ref on Tuesday, Premier list, but must have reffed us in the past. Can’t place him though.

201 seats left as of 11.30am on Sunday morning. All pretty much single seats apart from Blocks 9 (south stand upper) and 22 (north stand). East stand all but sold out with just 7 seats left.

Given the significant slowdown in sales it may be a struggle to get over the line for a complete sell out, but it will still be a 11,500 crowd.

1 ticket now available due to injury. East stand back centre, Block 18. Face Value if anyone is interested?
