Without seeing the article Iβd go with:Interesting (for once) article online from the Oxford Mail, Oxford Parkway is not in the top five most used train stations in Oxfordshire in the last year, with Oxforx top with 6 million and Haddenham 5th with 600,000, basically we would be saving that white elephant by building the ground there.
Without seeing the article Iβd go with:
Oxford
Didcot
Bicester
?
Haddenham
All stations that will have lots of fans using to get to games once the new stadium is built.Oxford
Didcot
Banbury
Bicester Village
Haddenham
Did McIvor object to Oxford Parkway being built?Interesting (for once) article online from the Oxford Mail, Oxford Parkway is not in the top five most used train stations in Oxfordshire in the last year, with Oxforx top with 6 million and Haddenham 5th with 600,000, basically we would be saving that white elephant by building the ground there.
What does a reduced capacity mean when it comes to a train station? Does it just mean the amount of trains that serve that station?Did McIvor object to Oxford Parkway being built?
Jokes aside, the capacity has been reduced a bit at OXP in the last year, Chiltern withdrew the mainline silversets in May this year that served Oxford.
Same amount of services, less carriages. The silversets which are headed by class 68 locomotives are formed of six coaches. The other rolling stock is a mixed bag of diesel multiple units (sometimes 2 or 3 carriage class 165 units) so the capacity is reduced. What does a reduced capacity mean when it comes to a train station? I hate to be a pedant but Haddenham is in Bucks.

I hate to be a pedant, but it is Haddenham and Thame ParkwayI thought the station was called Thame and Haddenham parkway?

Itβs nice to know that football fans will help such an under used train station become more economically viable.
