New Stadium Plans - The Triangle - Planning

It is a stupid mistake.
But if a genuine error that is corrected, then FOSB can be over it as much as they want, it will make no difference.
Very true. They can make all the noises they want, it won't make a difference

I'll still hazard a guess Middleton will go running to the OM though. He is that pathetic.

There have been far too many “errors” which have given fuel to the FoSB misinformation band wagon. This latest one is not an error, but a reminder of get your facts right. At least it’s been rectified, but that won’t stop the FoSB from making hay from it.

I don't believe this has been covered in this thread yet but another Lib Dem shows his hand ...

It makes a mockery of fans writing to him.

Better news though, Chiltern Railways supports the move.

They list some constructive stuff and voice requirements the club will have to do to make things possible. However, they have been speaking with Ridge about this so it's no surprise to them or the club what they are.

So, a former director of Stockport County makes his wishes known that another EFL football club should fold in order to suit his small minded and ignorant interpretation of traffic flow and football fans.

Dan Levy, you are another LibDem Hypocrite. You are another local politician that deserves to, and will, lose their seat should your wish become fulfilled. How many of your constituents have voiced any opinion other than pro OUFC and pro the new stadium? How much of this objection is down to your Green puppet masters?

There have been questions raised at a very senior level about why some have put the views of a relatively tiny opposition group, prominent figures of which are already elected or standing for election for the Green Party, above the views of tens of thousands of local football supporters and even more who support progress.

Because they're middle class ( or believe they are) and we're knuckle dragging neanderthal football fans?

That's positive, Chiltern Railways know that this is a great opportunity for more people to use their nice new station at Oxford Parkway (which is not small, it can accommodate trains of up to 12 carriages)

Why would he want a rival team in the same league as his beloved Stockport County to progress?

From a football man that is particularly galling, its clear he has no intention of signing the Heads of Terms.

They've been stringing us along all this time.
