How many mascot tickets are available? 1000?
I don’t know, but I’ve got my Boy Scouts shorts out, but just got to find my woggle now! Oh err misses! How many mascot tickets are available? 1000?
The club have responded that this is the only time ST holders will need to claim tickets...
Hull Tickets All Allocated
All tickets have now been allocated for our Sky Bet League 1 game at home to Hull City on Saturday.www.oufc.co.uk
I assume your joking?Thank f**k for that, cant handle that every Monday.
You old bastardDidn’t get a ticket, have followed the club for 120 years man and boy yada yada .. and the application process was clunky to say the least.
But happy to cut the club some slack, there’s a pandemic on.
Many others aren’t holding that view clearly. I’d say the weekend game has unleashed some .. er frustrations.
I assume your joking?
I like your enthusiasm!I’m not, only found out at ten that I was in a s**t area for phone signal, even tried climbing on a roof
They didn't comply with the rules in September though? Didn't the rules in September state you can meet up to six people outside and be socially distanced, which is the same as now? The one metre apart thing has been constant since March so I don't see what the point of doing the survey was in September?
How have they been doing this in Germany? Perhaps @Berliner can shed some light?
How exactly is this 'utter contempt'? It was made pretty clear that forfeiting that money was unconditional and would go towards supporting the club in a time when it would be financially stricken - a situation everyone who forfeited that money said at the time they were happy with, were proud to be supporting the club etc. It rings a bit hollow if you now try to claim you were foregoing it so that you would get priority access to future match tickets. Why do people keep saying it was 1 in 4 chance. As I understand it, we have 3750 ish ST holders, plus a number of them may not have been able to go/want to attend fir various reasons. Add to that others may not even have tried or been able to e.g. work etc. Additionally, a number of people within bubbles may have been tying to get tickets e.g. my son and I trying for over an hour and these percentages reduce further.
It’s just the utter contempt the way the club have treated fans who have renewed their ST’s (buying in access of £500each), didn’t accept the refund for last season, didn’t accept the refund for the Wycombe game, have been ST Holders for over 25 years in my case 40 years (even during the shite times - Conference etc), attended social events to bring in extra revenue etc.
I would have rather that did a ballot using some of the above criteria for prioritisation.
The club have seriously pissed off a number of fans using this approach and that’s after the shambolics of Saturday’s defeat and the season as a whole.
If this club can f**k things up they’d certainly be top of the league for that ala Leyton Orient, fax gate etc
Niall get your head out of your a**e and listen without sounding patronising for a change or taking us for granted otherwise the club could be in a more difficult position than the one we’re currently in next summer if you continue treating us with contempt.
I didn't have a problem with the 'fastest draw' approach as a one off, I had a problem with an IT system that couldn't support such an approach. It was a stupid idea, ballot would of been much better even with me managing to get a ticket thanks to my missus (forgot how those sites are useless with a mobile if your signal isn’t brilliant, I just timed out every time)
Split season ticket holders into two groups and rotate the games, any spares ballot among the season ticket holders who are not going that week (and then take the lucky ones out for the next ballot. People will have to show a bit of flexibility some weeks with where they sit but as long as that’s rotated a bit I can’t see the problem.
Today was a balls up but it was a novel situation for the club, it’s the rest of the season that really matters.
That's not the clubs fault though.I didn't have a problem with the 'fastest draw' approach as a one off, I had a problem with an IT system that couldn't support such an approach.
