CWC 19: Pakistan V Sri Lanka

Tipping it down here (Bris) at the moment.
never mind raining cats n dogs, the entire stock of many zoos and wildlife parks have been descending on South Somerset since the early hours..... snorkel n flippers required to visit local shops here at the moment

what dyou reckon the chances of even some semblance of a Cricket match taking place today in Bristol are @manor96 ?

Very minimal under normal circumstances. It being a World Cup game, they will try to get any sort of game on they can but frankly I can’t see it happening.

rain stopped in South Somerset ... and a bit of sunshine breaking through the clouds ... though its 50 miles south of Bristol where I am, and has the Mendip hills in between ( bit like Stokenchurch hill nr Oxford - on occasion a weather changing point)

hope there is Cricket today, but after this mornings monsoon like conditions .... hmmmm ?

cheers for info @manor96

Rain has just eased off but there’s still standing water on the roads. Would be a superb effort from the groundsmen to get a game on.
