Congratulations to our cross county former OUFC old boys club on reaching Wembley for the FA Trophy final........ remember a few pre season games there over the years ?

Good luck to them

It is a bit strange how Brackley seem to have seem to have semi Oxfordshire status, I suppose the number of ex Oxford players peaked interest in them. Can’t see them taking many to Wembley, why the FA play the trophy final there is beyond me, just pick a decent ground half way between the finalists.

Spot on. Why play tin pot matches at Wembley. I don't know who they're playing but I'd be amazed if the attendance is over Ten thousand.

Why shouldn't these clubs have the chance to play at Wembley? Taking that logic, the Checkatrade final and most of the League 2 play off finals shouldn't be there either.

Am I the only one who doesn’t understand the Brackley love in with oxford fans? While we are it we may as well keep an eye on how Slough or Aylesbury get a long.

Surely it would be more worthwhile if Oxford fans could help out North Leigh who are in financial trouble. Be good if there was a campaign to get as many people down to one of their home games when Oxford aren’t playing at home.

Furthermore Swindon is actually closer to Oxford City centre than Brackley is ! Nuff said

For me it is because it is close to the border & doesnt really seem to be part of Bucks either.
Plus we've had a lot of players go there over the years - particularly the youngsters on loan - so there does seem to be some affinity.

Just like to point out to some posters not everyone lives in Oxford , some of us live on the edge of the county and beyond . Personally I was brought up in a village between Banbury and Brackley so naturally I will be very interested in their fortunes .

Never been there and would struggle to find it on a map to be honest. Need to check how Wealdstone are getting on...

Attendances for Non-League Finals Day are pretty good actually - over 46,000 in 2016 and over 38,000 in 2017. 2 games of football at the national stadium for £25 is a good deal and a great opportunity for these players to live a dream.

I like it and it makes far more sense to me than playing semi-finals at the same venue as the final.

It doesn't matter if it seems to be part of Bucks or not when it's actually a part of Northants.

Bit like Abingdon being part of Oxfordshire since the 70s....yet neither Abingdon Utd or Town compete in the Oxford senior cup.... both stayed 'part of' Berkshire local league set up

Sutton I believe

It's not a 'love in ' but Brackleys ground is actually nearer to me than the Kassam is. I do wonder why Radio Oxford cover them though, especially as Radio Northampton does as well.

I went to last season's Non League Finals day. £25 And £1 for under 16s for matches. South Sheilds best supported club there, more than York had ?
