Apart from the fact we don’t need another centre midfielder, let alone one who has been without a club bar a few training sessions and an U23 game for another team since May. Why would we want to let him get his match sharpness back here, in our competitive league fixtures, only to move on for free in 12 weeks or so while our own contracted, fit players make way? We are not a reserve team - we are a League One football club who people pay good money to see try to win games, not to provide some sort of hostel for players who used to be something.Could easily be an affordable way of signing Josh McEachran. If he wants to play he could accept a lower wage till January or the end of the season.
Opportunity for him to get his career back on track, put himself in the shop window and we get a classy ball playing midfielder. Everyone is a winner....
What on Earth is the point in having some sort of constantly revolving door where players who aren’t committed come to get their careers back on track? How could we ever achieve anything carrying on like that?
It’s Josh McEachran. Not sodding Ronaldinho.
