Spurs, Arsenal , Villa or Salford United away please.

Anyone at home will do for me I would rather a couple of easier games get abit further in the competition then a big away day

Before we all get overexcited about drawing a Big (aka Greedy) Six side, remember a host of unappealing Championship sides could be drawn. Blackburn or Rotherham away for example 🥱.

One game that may appeal to us though - Bristol City at home so that LM can perhaps say a ‘proper’ goodbye 😈.

Worst possible draw would be something like Bolton away. Same league as us, with us as second favourites, a long journey. Utterly unexciting.

I settled on ‘Rotherham away’ as the worst possibility

A home game V the Poachers ( Bristol City) would be a good draw

or any home draw that gives a good chance of progressing into R4

Brentford, Qpr, Bournemouth away. Or if a big PL away : Man U or Man City

Definitely up there. Short of a Championship side doing well who aren’t likely to turn out for a FA Cup tie against us (Hull, Blackburn, Preston - although it is a good long old time since visiting Deepdale), it’s one of the worst ties we could get. Plymouth away would be another since, like Rotherham, we’ve played them in FA Cup matches recently as well as loads of League matches.

When exactly is the draw by the way? Before the Eastleigh-Reading game? Any idea what time?

A grumble about that - I much prefer a dedicated programme for the draw rather than it being tacked onto a match. It makes it feel more like an ‘event’. Also, don’t do the draw before all the ties have been played too.

Yes, before the game around 1pm.
Millwall would be a miserable draw too. Wouldn't really want Sheffield United away either although we could win that.
