New Stadium Plans - The Triangle - Planning

From a football man that is particularly galling, its clear he has no intention of signing the Heads of Terms.
Is there any way Levy can be removed from this process as he has shown predetermination?

Feels like a real crusade against the wishes of thousands of people to satisfy the few.

Dan Levy - the man entrusted with getting the HoT’s signed is clearly against the stadium. the Lib Dems are an enemy of the club, make no mistake.

He is an absolute disgrace.
The club need to call foul on this. He's shown his true colours now and it's clear as day that he is trying to hold up signing the Heads of Terms.

Get him out of the process now. Dan Levy - you are scum.

Dan Levy's objection is dated the 15th April. The day before he stood up in Council and proclaimed that "positive moves" had been made. The day before the following response was made to a member of the public (Janine - OUSP) to a written question.

I noticed FOSB included in their objection a photograph of the Oxford Mail front page with a picture of Kassam saying we can stay at the ground. Well I guess that's the Stadium dream over then.

What a lying scumbag he is. I do hope he receives a number of correspondence for his devious actions from OUFC supporters.

They've strung us along. I'm absolutely furious.

Albert Bloody Tait!

I might be misunderstanding, so somebody please help me out here. But both the councillors who have objected have committed lots of their objections to their theories about what the traffic impact will be if a stadium is built. We've been told that more traffic modelling was needed. Does this traffic modelling not tell us what the effect will be and allow us to form something more factual? Meaning these councillors don't have to tell us what they think will happen? Isn't that the whole point of modelling the traffic?

We need to stop being so nice it's getting us nowhere.

A massive show of support outside Oxfordshire county council for their next meeting. Bring flags, signs and most importantly noise!

I don't believe this has been covered in this thread yet but another Lib Dem shows his hand ...

It makes a mockery of fans writing to him.
Mr levy your point on people travelling through cassington is a load of rubbish why would we drive past a huge new park and ride in eynsham to go through cassington
Late night bus to Witney there plenty of buses back in to Oxford where we can then catch another bus and in any case on match day the bus company will put on more buses because there is money to be made

To me they are simply chasing the vote.
They are not really interested in whether this problem will be able to be resolved relatively simply.
They are pandering to their NIMBY FOSB type of people.
They'd face of democracy in my view.

Very good point.

We've jumped through every single hoop that's been put our way.

Yet it's still not enough. These people are determined to destroy OUFC.

And the other thing that is completely baffling to me, if their residents have concerns they can raise them against the application, like everyone is. I’d love to know why they need him to do it for them? Then we’re getting fed lines about I only hold that view in my local councillor role, but I’m neutral as part of OCC Cabinet. It’s completely bent.

I think we need to be clear on this. It’s the councillors name on the objection and as much as you say you’re representing your residents there is nothing to prove that. These views are very much their own, being impartial when on the OCC Cabinet is taking us for fools.

Plus he admits that there are many OUFC supporters in his constituency but, is willing to cause the club to fold. It makes no sense at all other than that he is acting under instructions from his puppet masters.
But, why oh why, would anyone wish to alienate his constituents to the extent that they vote him out of office? Either he is a fool or so arrogant as to believe that he can cling on to his seat.

We are totally being taken for fools.

I cannot believe such a small group of small minded people are swaying such a big proposal.

It's classic Oxfordshire this. The least progressive county in the UK.
