Iam still angry 19 games of poor performance after poor performance, Daryl Clarke had come in at Cheltenham and got them fighting .Des couldnt get this lot fighting out of a paper bag. I've just seen his interview, where is the anger and passion ,could you image Fergie ,anyway Portsmouth, Cheltenham then Bolton coming up how many points coming our way .I wrote the other day these would be season and maybe Des defining.Lose all 3 and what do wr think will happen.

Well that was the pivotal game of the season. And we totally and comprehensively blew it.

Weโ€™ve seen this squad of players, ( which has actually been strengthened recently),deliver some tremendous football earlier in the season so this was so frustrating . They do have the ability to get us up. My view. But weโ€™re not getting there with Des.

He had the demeanor of a man watching a Sunday league game with his dog for most of the game. No one beside him, no animation, no signs of encouragement, no passion, nothing.

Very concerning.

But not as concerning as face that we lost nearly all the 50/50s,

some players put in an apology for a shift, ( Iโ€™m talking about you, Matete, your casualness around the pitch was almost distressing),

Dale, potentially our most dangerous player, did not touch the ball for his first 15 minutes of his appearance, because no one passed to him.

Our last 4 goals conceded recently have come as a result of defensive howlers; unforgivable !

The body language of all concerned was abysmal,

The wrong players got subbed,

Murphy should have been sent off in first minute, you cannot kick out an opponent, whatever the circumstances.

Etc etc.

I put most of the blame on the players, some of them should be ashamed of their performances today.

But , goodness me, that post match interview by Des was awful; heโ€™s so hangdog. Show some fight man, this is your team Des, this is our team, we have ability, whereโ€™s it gone?

But still
COYY..

I think the rest of the season has probably been already defined by this week. 1 point from 2 home games (and the way we played in them) probably tells us all we need to know, sadly.

Oh sorry for putting three comments on, but we canโ€™t tackle, or head a ball, Murphy, Matete, Rodrigues, McGuane and Dale canโ€™t do a thing, as for actual tackling they Turn inside every time.

Rubbish.

Personally, not even worth talking about it.
Shocking.....end of .....
What's the point of a big bulls**t analysis...

Despite the good news on the planning application, the fans forum might be interesting and entail a little more heat than Tim and co would have originally have been expecting!

That was awful today. Northampton never looked like scoring until with gifted them the goals. Leyton Orient were nothing special until we let them control the game. Its a shame because there are so many average teams this season in League one. We've missed a great chance of promotion!

Been there seen it worn the t shirt..

And I thought I could be a miserable [insert any obscenity you choose]!! Many of us have been here in the past, but it is still good news that itโ€™s gone in, as opposed to it has not!

Off to now celebrate that I can now claim Iโ€™m in the happy clappers camp!

To f**Ng slow ,no movement...
There was suddenly a flurry of movement when we went 1-2 down. If only we had that desire and drive at 1-0 up. Des shouldnโ€™t be scared to shake things up when we are winning by the odd goal either. If weโ€™re playing poor for a period then change things up irrespective of the score. Just like the Reading game, 1-0 was not a safe lead especially if the play was sluggish and uninspired.

Yes understand, but little to late I'm afraid.

Well, that was totally abject. There are no longer the excuses of injuries to hide behind, other than Moore that was just about the first choice squad. Too many misplaced passes to count, lost tackles, cheap possession given away time and time again. No evident plan - again, no passion - again. Surrendered a winning position - again. So repetitive, so predictable. This is probably the most individually talented squad weโ€™ve had for a long time, why canโ€™t they play as a team? Everyone wants/wanted Des to succeed but, hey tick tock.

You would be surprised, that's all I will say.,

Orient had something like 70% possession in the 1st half. They battered us. We played like an away side sitting deep and Tried to hit them on the break. Mad to think we are meant to be a play off team at home against a team lower than us in the table.

Last 15 we only attacked as orient sat back and let us. Knowing that we create next to nothing.
We have been terrible, boring even when weโ€™ve won under Des. Take Charlton away awful for the most part and saved by a wonder goal. First of all itโ€™s the injuries, OK give you that. Now itโ€™s players getting back to match fitness. Excuses!

Where was the support today? Des B going through a bad patch but the support for the team was awful? Why?

Cheltenham at home will be pivotal. Assuming we lose at Pompey, defeat v Cheltenham and I think Desโ€™s position is teetering on the untenable. 75% of clubs would pull the trigger. Not sure whether we are a club who are the 75% or 25%.

Just today?

The atmosphere has been dire for a while. Ask anyone whether Oxford v Reading is a derby and they would laughed at you bearing in mind how quiet the fans were for that game recently.

Lots of reasons for it have been covered in other threads.
